Howard Goss was not only the founding general superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church, but was also a leading pioneer of the North American Pentecostal movement. His life story provides an important window on the development of the modern Pentecostal movement in general and the Oneness movement in particular. Goss’s passion for the restoration of the church to its apostolic roots illustrates the hunger in early Pentecostals to return to Pentecost. This book tells the story of what it means to live a Pentecostal life.
Excellent. A clear, objective biography of Howard A. Goss with some great history of the early Oneness Pentecostal movement thrown in. Highly recommend!
Very interesting book. Lots of information about Howard A. Goss as well as the early days of the modern day outpouring of the Holy Ghost. I believe Howard A. Goss was a great leader. He continued to fellowship with other Pentecostals. I wish apostolic leaders today would be more willing to reach out to other Pentecostals.
I enjoyed this well written and studied book. The author obviously put a great deal of time and energy into this work and it’s obvious by the list of references and bibliography.
