I would actually give this a 4.5 but I can't do half-star ratings. Shame. Anyway, I thought this was a really good book. It was well-written and Gretchen was a pretty solid protagonist. However, it did feel more like a (admittedly very good) romance than the action story I had expected. In some parts it felt like the karate aspects of the book were more of a subplot, but the summary made it seem like it was going to be mostly about karate.
