As this is a follow up novella to "Wish you were here", I was not as familiar with the characters as some readers. I found this was not a hindrance in reading this novella. I won a copy of the novella from which is why I have not read the first story yet. I was able to follow the characters and the storyline with ease. Ms. Vogt gives you most of the information about Seth and Meghan which one needs in order to understand how they fit into the plot. She does an excellent job of develo ...more

Beth Vogt writes a follow up to Wish You Were Here. This time around, Seth Rayner, jilted by Allison in Wish You Were Here, gets his own story. I didn't much like him in the first book, but she fleshed his character out so well, I was pulling for Seth all the way.

Allison's best friend, Meghan Holloway, is one of a kind, but one that men think is too outrageous and just don't want a future with her. Seth and Meghan are thrown together when Allison and Daniel decide to push their wedding up 3 mont

Seth Rayner likes to have things planned out and his plan was to Marry Allison and work in his father's company. All that changed two years ago, when Allison left him at the alter and ended up falling for his brother, Daniel. Now Daniel and Allison are getting married and he finds himself working with Allison's best friend, Meghan Holloway. Meghan is a quirky, speak-your-mind, liker-of-bright-colors (especially nail polish) kind of gal. She's tired of men not accepting her because she's differen ...more
Really great sequel

I absolutely adored "Wish You Were Here", and was so excited to find out there was a sequel. This novella is such a sweet romance that pairs the jilted groom from Wish with his ex-fiancee's best friend. This is a classic case of opposites attracting. I really enjoyed this funny, sweet romance. Seth, our hero, evolved so much from the previous book. Beth Vogt has become one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend :)

Good book; okay ending. 4.5 stars

I really enjoyed the book. I especially enjoyed spending time with Daniel and Allison. This Seth was very likeable - the first Seth, not so much. Seth and Megan were great together. The ending was good, but not great. I wanted more; I wanted an epilogue. An epilogue would have push it to 5 stars. All in all a good book and a great sequel to Wish You Were Here.

I loved Wish You Were Here, so the fact that this is a fun little sequel with a truly adorable cover made this a must-read for me! While not as deep as its novel-length predecessor, and while the heroine (Meghan) sometimes came across as abrasive rather than cute in her teasing, I still really enjoyed this sweet read about clashing personalities, staying true to yourself, and standing strong in humility in the midst of awkward circumstances. The ice cream scenes were great, and I loved Seth's ch ...more

Wow What a great sequel. I love the way it told us what happened to Seth. It was also good to continue to know about Daniel and Allison. The writing was fantastic

Loved this sequel novella! After reading Wish You Were Here you wonder what happened to Seth, this novella gives him his happily ever after=)
So...what did I do but head straight over and read this short sequel after "Wish You Were Here"! It was great to hear what happens with Seth and Meghan after the events of the first book.

I'll probably never like novellas as much as full-length, but this is still four solid stars for me, especially since a great deal of the character development was done in the other book. It wouldn't do so well as a stand-alone, but I really enjoyed this out-of-the box little romance tale! A great follow-up sto

Beth Vogt has taken an e-Short and jam-packed it with full-blown characters and a love story that will knock your socks off. It's a beautiful story of redemption and second chances that will warm your heart.

Ever since I read "Wish You Were Here," I wondered what became of Seth. Well, this story answers that question and more. If you love a good love story, this one will sweep you off your feet!

(But don't start it after 10 p.m. It kept me up because I just had to finish it!)

Wow, this sequel to Wish You Were Here was exactly the story I needed to read! It shows the transition Seth has been through, makes him likable, and tells a great romance. I simply loved the chemistry and banter between Seth and Meghan and what a TREAT watching Daniel and Allison finally get married! Vogt knows exactly what her readers need in a short story and she delivers it brilliantly.

Absolutely loved this novella! It was such a fun read. While, I didn't really like Seth in Wish You Were Here, I enjoyed his character development and loved that he was paired with Meghan in this novella. I can't wait to re-read it someday.
4+ Stars! Great little novella! Loveable, cute and quirky heroine...handsome, romantic and completely opposite male equals tension, some laughs and sparks! A very enjoyable, sweet, romantic read!
