An epic confrontation years in the making–the DARKEST HOUR event continues!
Tommy finds himself up against pure malevolence, watching in horror as his friends turn into something else entirely… something evil. As Dark Specter’s power grows, former friends will battle for the fate of the multiverse, while Mistress Vile is grappling with the ramifications of what she’s released. These two villains may be the Rangers’ only hope for discovering the answers our heroes seek within the Morphin Grid. And in a race to secure a Master Arch, the last Ranger anyone expected is the only one to arrive… but it’s far from over as the lines between hero and villain blur even further, with the ensuing battle bringing a beloved character’s journey to an end… Fan-favorite Power Rangers creators, including writer Melissa Flores (Spider-Gwen: Smash) and artist Simona Di Gianfelice (Firefly: Return to the Earth That Was) along with artists Marco Renna (Rogue Sun) and Adam Gorham (The Witcher: The Lesser Evil) dim the lights even further in the Power Rangers’ DARKEST HOUR! Collects Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #115-118.
The grid infection spreads and no Ranger is safe...
Zordon, Lord Zedd, and what's left of the Ranger teams are running out of options. There may be a way to keep the infection from reaching Earth, but at what cost? Drakkon's still a thorn in everyone's side (some things never change).
Things aren't over yet. There's more than one allegiance switch to come. Good, bad, neutral...
The Grid will find a way to survive. ==== Bonus: Corrupted Kimberly and original Tommy? THERE's a couple
The stakes get higher as more and more Rangers fall to Dark Specter's corruption, and even as the team tries to draw allies together, including familiar faces and unexpected surprises, things really are looking bleak.
I'll have more to say when the final volume is released, but the hype train keeps on rolling in this volume at least.
This series is coming to an end. There are so many references to the many rangers who have appeared throughout the series. This is a busy volume. One more volume to wrap it all up.
