As a dabbling trader, this book is phenomenal. It answers all of my questions - and questions I didn't even know to ask - right from the start to cover every aspect and influence on the trading market, and how to build and use these tools to trade. I am more of a swing trader than a day trader, but pretty much everything is applicable for both. I better understand what I am doing and feel much more confident in my approach. It is a privilege to live in a time where expert knowledge is accessible at the tip of your fingers.
Thank you Joe Duarte and Adams Media for the ARC. I loved this book so much I actually went and bought my own reference copy on Kindle.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I thought going in, it would be a quick primer on what it takes to day trade - i.e. strategies, tools, etc. But as I read, it delved into a pragmatic progression of what to expect and what it takes to ramp up into day trading and the practical, day-to-day description of what it's like to be a day trader. It's an all encompassing book that touches on all the things to consider. It doesn't delve super deep into each aspect but it does give a good breadth of all the things to consider for you to further do your own research.
