I really enjoyed this book. We got to know Alex better and the author took the book in an interesting direction. I won't give spoilers, but I think the direction it was taken was my favorite part about it. I can't wait to read the third installment!

The beginning is a little slow but necessary for the rest of the novel to hit emotionally. Even then it's an easy read and you'll find yourself almost done brute it notice.
Alex is a wonderfully complex and relatable character.
This may seem like a run of the mill urban fantasy but it's packed with heart and cleverness.

Brothers in Arms has lots of superhuman action to satisfy your inner adrenaline junkie, but also some really heartfelt character moments that take this beyond
