Crista is a young Country Music entertainer, thrilled to be on her way up the music charts. She returns to her small home town to reforge relationships with family members and friends, as well as to face some painful memories. She incidentally finds a man who won't accept her explanation that music and romance don't mix. She has to decide how much risk she is willing to take, and whether she can deal with the complications that result. She leaves to go on tour and watch the details of her personal life play out publicly when the press gets wind of her new interest. When it all appears to be going the way she feared, can she cope?

About the author

Nancy Hopper

8 books
Nancy is a freelance photographer and writer living in Boise, Idaho. She has been a photographer for thirty years, and a writer for that same amount of time. Nancy has written responses to customers for department directors, governors and legislators since 1987. She has written a number of novels that she is currently publishing. She is married to William Harold Hopper and has three children, a daughter in law and two grandsons. She is an avid musician, motorcyclist, horseman and skier. She shares her home with several macaws and parrots and a Miniature Schnauzer. She has lived in Washington and Idaho all her life, and loves the outdoors and untouched wilderness of the West, as well as its wildlife. She loves to craft–scrap booking, making jewelry, crocheted clothing, quilting and dressmaking, interior design and oil painting, in addition to photography. Though she has spent much of her life in vocal groups and (country and classic rock) bands, currently she is engaged in travel, photography and writing. She has traveled as a music minister, orator and workshop instructor — from California to Connecticut, and has been privileged to make friends from all over the world. Over a span of twenty years, Nancy worked her way from typist through all five levels of adjudication, to risk manager as well as seven years in a management position with Washington’s Labor and Industries. Most recently, she held a management position in the State of Idaho, where she worked for the past thirteen years. Nancy began studying photography in high school, and has never stopped shooting. She shares her love of photography with her husband Harold, and they have worked in both wet and digital mediums together through the years.
