Sam left his mate behind when her family was threatened
Stella was traded to a demon by her alpha. She escaped and was rescued by the Silver Wolves. Sam had never forgotten her.

I love the special ops team. This story evolves around Sam and his lost love Stella.
At the beginning of the story Stella , a loyal pack member, even though she has been ostracized for a perceived wrong, gets an order from her alpha that she can not follow. She decides no one will dictate her life anymore. She wants independence. She was a strong person, having to live in a town of people who hated her, but after the command she became even stronger. Running away took courage.
Sam has regretted his decision from his past everyday. When he gets a chance at redemption, he takes it . I love the many ways he shows Stella. For a person who doesn't talk much , he sure had a lot to say when it came to Stella.
We find out why her alpha hates her. Why he hated her parents. We also find out why Sam left.
I like that the story shows compassion and acceptance. Something Stella didn't have in her pack.
Action throughout. Steam to the romance and of course no cliffhanger, but the perfect HEA. I loved the humor also.
Past characters are also involved in helping Stella, so it is best read in order.

This is a Silver Wolf Black Ops story. It revolves around Stella and Sam who are both wolf shifters. Stella was shunned by her pack and the alpha has decided to give her to a demon in exchange for peace. Stella has always been obedient but not this time. She runs and ends up in Silver Wolves territory. Sam is a member of the Silver Wolves Black Ops and he has regretted what happened between him and Stella for years. When Stella comes in to their territory Sam sees this as fate and a second chance to win his mate. Will Stella allow Sam back in her life? Will Sam keep her safe from the demon and her pack? Will Sam and Stella get a second chance at being mates?

Betrayed wolf mate…
This is book 5 in the Silver Wolves Black Ops series. This had a decent enough heroine but I was unsure about the hero. These wolves are supposedly possessive but this guy just left when his group got run off by the resident pack in town. He never went back either. So this wasn’t believable right off the bat.
The woman, Stella, was not too clever either. She made some bone head moves that got her captured again. I wasn’t impressed by her either.
There’s no rejection of the mate bond as far as I remember. The guy basically just moved on with his life without a single thought and left her to the mercy of a huge jerk alpha who sold her off.
I’m not impressed with this at all. The writing is fine but I didn’t like the story. Sorry!

Stella seeks freedom

too easy
I personally would like to know how in the world they were able to track down the demon’s Name. I know they talked to someone but how did they know that that someone knew it?
Idk. Felt too easy.
Plus Stella figuring out the thing about Farrow seemed to come out of nowhere.
Everything was too convenient.

Nice read
Enjoyable shifter romance. Steam is decent. New element with the demon and underlings but more focused on the romance, which was good.

Overall wasn't too bad. Felt like it was dragging but that could totally be a me thing lol. Story was alright spice was pretty good as well!

Loved the suspense. Great descriptions I can visualize the place and feel like a person standing watching the story unfold.
