Found In Us is the second book of the Lost series but it can be very well read as a standalone. I'm very happy to report that this book was more my style than the first, Parker and Jessica took me on a delightful journey and I can see myself reading this book again and again...

Jessica is a California girl living in London, she's landed her dream job at a museum and is now determined to leave her party girl persona behind and start making a new life for herself, one wh

4 Second in a Series but Strong, Solid and Sexy on its own Stars ****

I think series writing can be challenging for authors. Not because they don't have the talent to do them...I think it can be hard to continue a theme yet have a distinct and different story which links everything together. Some series work - others maybe not so much. This series actually blossomed and all the parts became stronger for me.

Layla Hagen started this series with Lost in Us. There we had characters who had extreme u

“I loved it” might be a bit of understatement to how I feel about this book. I can say that Layla Hagen has done a good job in executing this one. I’m very happy that in the start of the story the characters have stayed true to form as they are introduced in Lost In Us, unlike many books I’ve read which ended up with the same character developments and even the dialogues and the “tone” of the whole book.

Found In Us is way more wilder and hotter than the first book. If you are sensitive to that

Found in Us gave me all the answers that Lost in Us had me wondering, or should I say pondering, for a while. We finally get the 411 on what’s the deal with all things that conclude Jessica and Parker from what really went down between them and what’s going on in their minds!

So YES guys, we do get Parker’s POV and why he bruised our poor heroine’s ego and why he continuously keeps popping into her life just to c*#

Ive been waiting a while for Found in Us and let me tell you is was worth the wait, because Miss Layla did and amazing job Im absolutely in love with Jess and Parkers story!!

I really wanted to know what the heck happened with them back in California and finally I have the answer, can you blame Jess for running away from Parker after he really bruised her ego?? I dont think so, I would probably hide under a rock just to avoid him.

Its really interesting to see how they both been afected basically

I received this book for free by the author, for an honest review. Thank you.

As this author is new to me, I was pleasantly surprised with the writing from Layla Hagen. I loved reading about Parker & Jessica's story. I had not read the first in the series, Lost in Us, but it didn’t matter; this book was so well written it could be a stand alone. I loved that she gave you POV’s from both Parker and Jessica. You got to know the characters and why they avoided each other. As cute as that was, wh

Found in Us is the second book in Layla Hagen's Lost series. Lost in Us was book 1 and I really enjoyed that book. This book was no different!!! I really enjoyed this book as well. I was excited to find out we were getting Jessica and Parker's story at the end of book 1. I just knew they would have an interesting story to tell (and boy was I right) I w

This is my second book by Layla Hagen, and she hasn’t disappointed me so far. The series just got better and better, and I so love the dual POV that came with this book. I was so thankful for it, getting inside the character’s mind would make you understand them more.

You will fall in love with Jessica and Parker, just like you did with Serena and James. They are two different people, who shares some similar traits – they find it hard to trust other people.

She wanted to be good.

Found in Us is as book 2 in the Lost Series by Layla Hagen and can be read as a standalone. I first met Parker and Jessica in Lost in Us and you just love both of their characters. If you read book 1 you know that Parker and Jess had a bit of a connection, but nothing came of it and not for lack of trying on Jess' part.

This book pretty much picks up right were book 1 left off. Jess has just moved to London with Dani (who we also meet i

It’s nicely written in a casual style that turns intensely hot when addressing intimate moments, and deeply touching in sensitive matters.

The steamy times are extremely entertaining and go from original to hot and hotter. I thought Parker was hiding a couple of secrets and that’s why h

As soon as I knew that Jessica and Parker’s story was going to be told, I just knew that I had to read it. I loved the little hints we were given in ‘Lost in Us’ about their relationship and that as we were told nothing concrete, and Jessica seemed far too hateful towards Parker for such a short acquaintance, I just knew that something had happened between them whilst James and Serena were working through their relationship, and I just had to know what that was!

I am pleasantly surprised by Found in Us. I enjoyed Lost in Us, but the maturity in writing between that book and this one is remarkable. The writing is more pulled together and the characters more defined. The book is well plotted and flows well. I found myself so engrossed in the story, that I did not want to put it down. I enjoyed James and Serena's story in Lost in Us but I love Jessica and Parker's journey even more. Emotionally, the story has everything: anger, betrayal, humor, lust and pa ...more

When I read the first standalone book in this series, Lost in Us, earlier in the year, I only had one complaint – I wanted more of Jess and Parker. They were the side characters in that book but I was thrilled to see Found in Us was their story.

Fresh from being rejected by Parker, Jess is the bad girl trying to reform herself at college. Although she wants to avoid Parker at all costs, that soon becomes impossible and she finds h

Yay!!! Book two is finally here and I can't tell if I love it more or the same as the first book! Though I did find this one to be slightly hotter than the first. That's always a bonus. (: I love that Jessica was going to do this good girl image and I wanted to see if she would actually get a good girl image or watch something else unfold....

Jessica has finally gotten her dream job and is going to start this new life with a good girl image. This was something I was going to either love or not.

Oh man! I got started on this book at work and quickly found myself enveloped in it. Found in Us is actually the second in a series but it can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first one and I can assure you this book tells a complete tale.

Jessica is the original California party girl who does things on her own. She finally gets the dream job she wanted in a museum in London, now she just needs to shed her party girl past. Parker is an old friend who hurts Jessica’s ego by turning her

This book tells the story of Jessica and Parker, two people who think they are too damaged to deserve love. Parker had previously defended Jessica in a bar incident, which resulted in her having a broken leg. During her healing, Parker helped care for her and they grew close, but never gave in to the sexual desire they felt. Parker returned to London to save his family's company, and Jessica lands her after-college dream job working for a museum. Through a little plotting by Jessica's roommate, ...more

Jessica - Jess - Haydn is an American girl who, after being a rebellious young girl, decides to start life afresh. For that, after college, she will live in the city that most captivated her: London.
In London she gets the job of her life: assistant for Museum Operations. It wasn't a great museum, but for the first time Jess was proud of herself for having achieved something alone.
Sharing the apartment with Dani, there was only one problem with that: Dani was Parker Blakesley's cousin, a man fo

Found in Us is a sweet story of two people trying to find love and acceptance. I love Jessica and Parker's story even more than I did Serena and James's. Definitely an awesome read. Travel with Jessica to a new place. Different from her home. A strong female who wants to prove she is worth more than just being a pretty face and a party girl. Jessica has grown up a lot since the last time we saw her. Made me proud to see how she evolved, and had more depth and understanding. She was like a bird with a broken wing that just need time to heal. Of course no better way to heal than by falling in love. She has her flaws but worthy of true love. I was g ...more

Found in Us is the second book in the Lost Series. It is a stand alone and it’s not necessary to read the first book to enjoy this one. Although the characters from Lost in Us do come back in this story and this story actually begins in Lost in Us. Found in Us is the love story between Jessica (Jess) and Parker. Both characters have had troubled pasts and feel that they are unworthy of love. They need to prove to themselves they are worthy of love before they can open their hearts.

The book tells a story of Jessica and Parker, both of whom have a need for redemption and fear of affection. They did not get enough love from their parents and that made them believe that they are not worthy of love. Having been rebellious in their youth they are now trying to forget about the infamous past. As they got hurt too many times, they learned not to trust anyone.

Jessica loves freedom. She turns everything on their head, always sees something good in everything. She loves life, she’s

Two unworthy characters find a love worthy of forever...

I loved Jessica and Parker. I loved them in Lost in Us, but they were even better in Found in Us. Jessica has a does Parker. Jessica is not your typical heroine - she's not the sweet virginal girl that you read so often in New Adult books. No. She's a bad girl trying to overcome that reputation (a twist, since usually it's the bad BOY trying to be good).

Parker starts off the hero that you've come to expect in a New Adult book - CE

What an enjoyable read! I loved every minute of it! Layla Hagen has a great series on her hands and I loved reading Found In Us.

We get to meet back up with Jessica who is now in London, trying to adjust to new life style, new job, being in a new country! She is trying to be a “good girl” in her new surroundings, but Parker certainly makes that difficult for her. She is still hurt over the fact that he liked her one second and rejected her the next. Parker is all about work, saving the family bu
