Primarily focuses on the load bearing technique of building with bales. If this the way you're going, then it might be worth checking out. However there are plenty of other books which are more up to date.

maybe when/if I learn to build with straw bales this would be a valuable reference but I am having trouble approaching the concepts in this book.
