Chicks Looking For A Book Fix

You meet Hunter and Autumn in Fierce which is entirely from Autumn's POV. Fury is from Hunter's POV. I really liked Fierce but let me tell you I love Fury. I have to be honest and say I liked Hunter's side of the story better. His side of the story answers some questions you may have had after reading Fierce.

I loved being inside Hunter's head when it came to his feelings for "Leafy" and how much he wanted to protect her. The passion between the two was so much hotter hearing it

This book is 1.5 in the Fierce series by Clarissa Wild. The first one in the series is called Fierce. This book is the same story but told from Hunters POV instead of Autumn’s. I absolutely loved it!!! I Defintely recommend reading Fierce first.

Fury was alot more emotional for me because you get to be inside of Hunters head. You get to see all his insecurities, what he goes through trying to fight what he feels for Autumn, how he feels about his brot

Lately, I have taken as procedure not to read the synopsis of any of the books I am about to read. I go by the name and the cover and if it catches my attention, I go for it. I have found that, this way, the experience with the author, the characters, the story are completely more exited. The unknown and the WOW factor, makes the expectation more appealing and the

Looking through the eyes of Hunter gave me a new perspective on this series. I was a fan of his in the first book but I didn't wholly understand his actions and motivations. This book sheds a lot of light on it and I am glad I read it. This review is in exchange for the gifted copy I received from the Author.

Hunter Bane's life held nothing but sorrow and hardship. Being less than well off and a severe learning disability to boot attracted the attention of the school bullies, forcing Hunter to le

How often do we as readers question what the guy is thinking and ask ourselves why in the world they did something? I seem to always been shaking my fist in the air at something one of my book boyfriends does. Well ladies, we get the million dollar question answered when it comes to Hunter Bane from Fierce by Clarissa Wild in her newest release Fury. In the follow up book we get to see the series events from Hunter's point of view and learn what really leads to his secrets and master mind planni ...more

This book was a gift, and I entitle this Amazing because this installment is exactly that! It is a well told story from Hunter's POV and he is so honest about his feelings, hopes and fears that I couldn't help but feel those things with him. Both Hunter and Autumn (Leafy) were perfect for each other even though Hunter kind of fought it at first because he felt like he wasn't good enough for her and then because he was trying to protect her and all the time trying to hide his learning disability. ...more

I loved this book even more than the first one. Reading a book from the male point of view is so interesting and I find much more introspective than the female's side. You really get to know the character more and realize what makes them tick but also what makes them do the things that they do.

Even though I knew what was going to happen it was not repetitive. I was not skipping parts to see what was going to happen next. I fell in love with Hunter. At such a young age he had more things figured

Hunter…. Hunter M*therf*cking Bane. Enough said :)

Just kidding…there is plenty to say about this SUPER HOT man. FURY is the sequel to FIERCE by Clarissa Wild. Fury is written in Hunter’s POV and I gotta say, it’s way hot. I do believe I liked it better than the first! Getting the insight from the male point of view is just so fun to read, especially when it’s written well, like in this case.

I think I liked this book more than the first one. You get to read Hunter’s take on everything. I read Fierce first and while it was a good book this one just blew it out of the water. I really loved that it was from Hunter's perspective and I felt that I really knew the character and understood him. I thought that it gave me all of the information I felt was lacking in Fierce about him and then some. I felt that the story evolved much better so I was drawn in much quicker than I was with Fierce. It still had those hot moments but I personally thought that the romance was more what I hope ...more

I was over-the-moon when I found out there was more of Hunter and Leafy!
How could it get better?
Telling the story through Hunter's eyes of course!!!
It's so much more than a 're-telling'!
5 FURY-ous ***** from one Fierce gal!!!

NOTE: I'd like readers who haven't experienced Fierce to read this review as well. And I have a major aversion to spoilers... Those things in mind, this review will be as vague as I can get. There is no cheating in this book. More importantly - You must read these books!

Now you read the other side of the story. Hunter's POV .

I had said at the end of the book#1 review that Hunter's secret was so well guarded that reading a book under his POV it would take all the fun. But that surprise me.

Yes, the reader knows since the beginning the issue about his brother arrest, for drug dealing, and the deal he done to release his brother from jail . We can learn about the backstage, everything happens in the club, gang underground parties, and especially in the arena.

Complimentary copy received from the author....

Having loved Fierce (Fierce #1) it comes as no surprise that Fury rocked my world as well. Written this time as Hunter’s POV, the story mirrors Fierce but at the same time it covers so much more and you get an in-depth insight into the gorgeous but troubled Hunter Bane.

If you haven’t read Fierce, the story is based around nerdy student, Autumn Blakewood, and the school bad boy/fighter, Hunter Bane. Autumn is nervous about starting school. She has be

This is Fierce 1.5 or Hunter Bane POV, there are some stories that don't necessarily work with a male point of view, however I feel with Fury this is a great complement to Fierce. Hunter needed to have his own story, without the cause for offence I do know there

Fury is Hunter's story from the beginning you learn more about what happened with his brother Jessie and how it all got started. Jessie will not let his brother become nothing like he is he wants him to go to college and get an education so he can do better with his life.

We know the story of how they met in the first book Fierce, he sees Autumn from across the yard and he can't take his eyes off her. I loved reading about his thoughts ans actions from his perspective even though you know what ha

This book is told from Hunter Banes point of view. We learn more about his life prior to college, about his brother whom is his whole world basically. We learn why he is fighting and why he is involved in this drug blowout. We also hear from his point of view on how he met and fell so deeply inlove with Autumn Blakewood < His Leafy>

The story of Hunter and Autumn continues. This time we are given Hunter's POV and insight. His secrets all revealed.

This is a young man who as depended on the love and support of his older brother all his life. With his learning disability undiagnosed but forever affecting his life and short term memory, losing his brother is a fate worse than death. His brother is in jail for dealing drugs to support the two of them and pay for his college education. Hunter has no other choice but do everything

This is told from Hunter's POV... and, let me tell you... his point-of-view is fantastic ;) It's amazing being in his head. He's a very complex guy. You definitely cannot judge person, because you really never know what someone is going through in life.

Autumn/Leafy is such a favorite character of mine :) she's feisty, sweet, caring, seemingly awkward, a bookworm (not bad things).

Fury is another well told story from Clarissa Wild. Fury is told from Hunters pov.

I loved reading Hunter's thoughts and feelings, his insecurities and his ability to make his brother proud by saving him instead of the other way around.

Hunter had a rough childhood, his brother has taken care of him and saved enough money to put him through college.

Once there his brother is arrested and looking at 7-10 years in prison. Hunter can't handle that, his brother won't survive it and Hunter won't surviv

I really enjoyed reading this story through the point of view of Hunter Bane, it really made some aspects of the original story Fierce make more sense and prove how there are always 2 sides to every story. I enjoyed the banter between the characters, the easy flow of the story, the details about the town, the college, the arena, etc. It made the reader feel as if they were really there throughout the story. Fury is the alternative version of Fierce and is told in Hunter's POV(point of view).
Hunter the bad boy/fighter with the dark side he showed us in Fierce shows us that he does have a softer side with redeeming qualities when it come to Autumn and his brother. This book fills the gaps in the details and gives us more information on the circumstances of the things Hunter is going through that were missing in Fierce.

I was not sure if I was going to like this one. I loved Fierce but I really don't usually like it when books tell the same story just from another persons point of view, I get bored and don't want to finish them.

That being said I did enjoy Fury in some ways more the Fierce. Hunter has a hard life they touch base in Fierce about his learning disorder but to see how bad it really is was a little bit of a shock.

I was looking forward to reading fierce but when I finally did I was emensly blown away. Still that was from leafy's pov but I was still curious to know where all that bunched emotion was coming from in hunters pov. This review is going to be a short one as I don't have a huge amount to say on this book.
This book is a re-telling of Fierce told from the POV of Hunter.
I liked the story better from his POV than Leafy's. Details and background information that were sorely needed in Fierce were given and it really helped flesh out the characters.
However, despite Hunters POV making the story better I still found myself in the same situation that I was in while reading book 1 - that the story was ok but it's not

This is a point of view from Hunter. It is shocking to see exactly what he went through to get where he did. To have to try and free his brother from being set up to falling in love with an expecting woman. The obstacles he has to try and overcome to learn is amazing. Asking for help to a lot of courage for him to do but he needed to save his brother. He tried very hard to keep Autumn/ Leafy out of harms way but he couldn't let her know exactly what he was doing either. It was shocking to find o ...more

I'm having a hard time understanding why the author didn't put this one out first. The first book made Hunter seem like a complete wimp when his side of the story tells the WHOLE story. Incredible and ass backwards. The story was a lot better and more believable than Fierce. Characters had better development, I'm not sure Autumn should have had her own story, for me it was pointless. She had zero depth. The story flowed beautifully, and my entertainment value was loads better than the first.
