This book is about planting and growing a pumpkin, watching it grow, and then using it to bake a pumpkin pie.
I like this book because it shows students how to grow things, watching it grow over a period of time, and then it shows how to bake it into a pie.
I would use this book alongside the harvesting book because the students would be able to apply their knowledge of knowing what harvesting is to the planting of the pumpkins. They would recognize that planting them and then picking them to make a pumpkin pie is what harvesting is about.

This book was just a cute read and very informational on what it takes to make a pumpkin pie! would use in my classroom especially during any units about fall!
