I took 3 years of French in high school and then promptly forgot it for 10 years!! I decided last year after a failed attempt at learning Italian to get back into French and this is the book I started with. It was a great way to re-introduce myself to the language. It rates right up there with Living Language Ultimate French and the best language tool ever: Get Into French by the BBC and Cambridge University!!!

The feeling is that this book is an excellent companion for learning and training the language. It made my life much easier when i combined my reading with an iPhone Application called Duo Lingo...

Took two months to finish this book. This book is very helpful for beginners who really needs a Headstart towards navigating different topics about France and it’s culture especially vocabulary and context with conversations and questions for interpretation so it’s like reading comprehension and vocabulary improvement. A great Headstart and a great achievement, I heavily recommend this book.
