Frank the fish lives in a large tank with sand, a pink shell, and a pretend ship, but the most important thing of all is missing until a cat inadvertently helps him find a new home.
Pretty enjoyable read about a lonely little pet shop fish. I think the medium used in the illustrations was watercolor. The thing that stands out the most for me was the double-page spread of Frank's tank getting knocked over by the shop's resident mean-cat. The look on the cat's face as the disaster unfolds is pretty spot on! This was a simple read for very young students - a lot of alliteration and repeated word usage. Good book with great illustrations!
