Stuck On Stupid: African American Romance
No matter how many times Dezmond breaks her heart, Jazzlynn, better known as Jazzie, can't seem to shake him. He was her first love and his love is all she knows. She doesn’t want to let it go, no matter how much it hurts. Tori, her best friend, is tired of her girl playing the fool. She convinces her to live life for just one night, and Jazzie does just that. Dez has a hold on these females like no other. Thankfully one of them wised up. There is a lot of drama and I was sad to see it end. You wonder how can someone be o stupid-I get it he's her first love but dang!! Girl... I'm ready to read part 2!

Good Read! I could relate to the story because I too have played the fool one too many times, but when you in love everybody a fool but you! Reading stuck on stupid was like reading the story of my life! It was the same script of my life just different cast. Great job! I'm so ready for what's next to come from the author.

Stuck on stupid...thought I was gonna have a heart attack. Enjoyed this story I was having stress atbthe beginning cause stuck on stupid was what jazz really was but as the story developed I love the direction it went. Anyways love is in the air but drama still lurking so time for part 2.

I don't remember how I came across this one. I think my Amazon page suggested it based on my history BUT . . .this was a quick read racy with a TON of true to life relationship drama. Delightful

This book is actually 3.5 stars and I found it to be typical of the stories being read. I didn't find anything original about the storyline.

this book was so real life it hit right at home with real life situation every one plays the fool sometime. despite the many errors I gave it 5 stars can't wait for part 2.

At first I considered this book as ratchet. The more I read the more engrossed I became with this book. The openness of the characters and no matter how stuck on stupid some may be there is bits and pieces I identified with.

Great read! I’m glad Tori & Truth finally made it official. Dezmond & Rita deserve each other. I hope Jazzie doesn’t go back to Dez at all. Maine is the right one for her. Can’t wait to find out what happens next.

This book was true to it's title. Jazzy and Dez were in a dysfunctional relationship where Dez cheated on her repeatedly and instead of paying attention to the signs and flat out ignoring her instincts, Jazzy became a victim. She was so afraid to let him go because he's all she's known. Not only was Dez verbally abusive, but physically as well. I was so disappointed in Jazzy's behavior for most of the book, but sadly I've known women who have put up with that very type of man. Jazzy would even seek out the women he cheated with and get into fist fights. She was just a possession to Dez- someone he could control.
Finally after getting fed up with Dez, she goes out to a club and meets Maine. He's handsome, smooth and exactly what she's been looking for. All he wanted was her loyalty and love, but Jazzy struggled with letting go of Dez. I loved Maine because he wasn't about to be a rebound. If Jazzy couldn't give herself to him completely, he was more than willing to let her go. He showed her how a real man is supposed to treat the woman he loves and what a healthy relationship is all about.
Truth and Tori have been best friends forever. Truth was secretly in love with Tori, but Tori was so focused on her lifestyle and what she could get out of men, she was blinded to Truth's feelings. Truth's happy ending included Tori as his wife and the mother of his children, but Tori was so afraid of ruining their friendship and pushed him away. I loved the way Truth fought for Tori and refused to let him push her away.
I think the men stood out in this book for me. They were definite alphas, willing to put their women first and they were loving, yet domineering. Their women were everything to them, but they expected loyalty and respect in return. This book fell short of 5 stars solely due to the need for editing.

Jazzie is very much stuck on stupid. Her boy friend Dezmond continues to break her heart over and over , but Jazzie always takes him back.

The characters and the story line were very well developed. The characters grew as the story continues.
The story will capture your interest from the beginning and hold it until the end. The story line flowed very well.
The author did an excellent job with this book.
I highly recommend that you add this book to your list of books to read this year.

Stupid Is As Stupid Does.....
This was a good read. It was full of drama and quite a few stuck on stupid moments but I never gave up on Jazz. Although I hated how stupid she was for Dez, I continued to hope she would eventually get over him. Her run ins with Rita were funny as check. Fez had Jazz out there acting a fool over his no good self. Rita got just what she deserved in getting Dez. I loved me some Maine and Truth and Jazz and Tori were perfectly matched for them. Shayla was just as crazy as Rita so I felt no sympathy for either. The cliffhanger was a jaw dropper, I can't wait to find out about Ms. Hattie all shell is going to break loose. Great job Ms Cox anxious to start part 2.

This book deserves 10 stars!!! The title is sooooo appropriate for this book, its scary!!! In the beginning, I was so mad at Jazz and kept asking myself can anyone be this STUCK ON STUPID? This book was written so good, I thought I was family and experiencing all the emotions that the characters felt. That last scene in Cancun with Tori and Truth where she finally performed for him... OMG, EPIC!!!! I was so happy that Jazz finally let go of Dez and linked up with Maine, but I have a feeling that she is not completely over him, afterall she was Stuck on Stupid for about 5 years..... It doesn't go away overnight.... Guess we will see in part 2...

I thought Jazzy's love for Dez was like no other, more like a merry-go-round that only she could stop. I can only hope that Maine's love will be enough. Tori, on the other hand, is finally seeing that Truth may be the light. Rita seemed to finally get what she's wanted for quite some time & I must admit she truly deserves it. I thought Stuck on Stupid by Apryl Cox had a good storyline with well written characters and made for a good read. I'm sure part 2 will continue with the interesting drama.

I couldn't put this book down. omg this is truly quick tale of being stuck on stupid. the story of many women life. chasing a no good nigga and when a good one come around it's hard to let that wall down so you rather be with the one doing you wrong cause that's all you know. Very Entertaining
This is probably one of the longest books I've read in a long time but it was a great read. It held my attention from beginning to end and I'm looking forward to part 2. Well worth the money. Excellent JOB Apryl!!!!

I enjoyed the book and could relate to some of the characters. Dez was a hot mess and was lucky any woman wanted him. Maine seemed to good to be true and truth has some serious anger issues.

BOTH them bitches stupid. Firstly why the fuck does jaz dumb ass keep running back to Dez, I hate women like that. Secondly Tori acts like shes a sex addict and just has to sleep with anything that moves. But then she has a good man in front of her and she didn't see it. Just stupid.

This was a great read. I think this is something a lot of women go through. I am glad Jazzie wised up. I can not wait to read part two.
