Adams, James. Ambush, the war between the SAS and IRA. James Adams, Robin Morgan, Anthony Bambridge. London, Pan Books, 1988. 18 cm. viii, 200 pages. Softcover. Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear.
Illuminating in terms of SAS operations. I knew very little about them previously. Got the feeling the writers were a bit keen on Thatcher - which I wasn’t a fan of. Otherwise engaging and fascinating in terms of understanding the troubles and the historical context of the IRA if (like me) you don’t know much about it.
Written in 1988 by three Times/Sunday Times so called 'journalists'. Pure propaganda on behalf of the UK Tory Government of that period. Incredibly this book has no references. Not one! Absolute garbage.
