The cute and low angst tones of Just a Little Love also made my heart happy. Gabriel and Rory’s relationship was a sweet one.
The age-play scenes were a little lacking though, and the author spent too much time including unnecessary details, making this read just a tad longer than it should’ve been. There was also a lot of back and forth between the characters - it’s supposed to be fake, but I like him, but ahhh it’s not real, but it could be, etc….
All in all, pleasant and fun times, but not my fave either.

I wasn’t in a really good mood last week and all I wanted was a super cute romance that would put the biggest smile on my face and this book just really worked for me.
This was such a tender romance and reading it made me blush and kick my feet, I was just enjoying this book so much. This was such a fun read.

Sweet baby Jesus I loved this so much! These two were amazing and love a great fake boyfriend story. The characters were melt in your mouth sweet. I was worried it would be too sweet but the author managed to make it just right. I loved how the author captured this D/b relationship. I love that we got to be a part of their couple time. I loved their story. For a first time book this author did amazing. I loved watching Rory find himself and watch Gabe find his happy. I may need to own a daddy and baby otter. The smexy was YUMMY! I’m super excited to read about several friends, and would love to know Jakob and Reeds story.

Since I started reading romance, I've thought it was interesting to learn about certain kinks from the stories. Reading them from lovers POV better helps me understand. This is my first daddy/little book, I won't ever judge a kink, but there are some parts I didn't understand the appeal... The diapers are one of them lol it's OK, tho. I won't yuck their yum. I really enjoyed this story 💚

Just a Little Love was such a sweet little kink story. I really loved Rory's intro into being a little, and how supportive Gabriel was of his exploration. The communication between them was so open and honest, and seeing their relationship turn into something real was just too perfect, even if there were some hiccups along the way.

This was really cute. It's been too long since I've found a new queer age play book that didn't disappoint me and I'm so happy I snagged this one on a stuff your kindle day.
Their meeting is a little too perfect but I don't even care. I loved them both and their relationship growth. There is some serious miscommunication involved and that's annoying but again, I'm not mad at it.

I'm not usually one for the Daddy and boy stories but this was really good. I reallyed enjoyed the deep dive into the relationship dynamic and the lifestyle. I absolutely loved Anders, Reed and Jakob as side characters as well. I love when side characters are loveable.

I stumbled across this and I'm glad I decided to check it out! It's a cute story that's mostly low drama and the relationship unfolds at a quick, but not unbelievable pace. I wonder who will feature in the next book??

This was a tough decision to make, because the writing and character development are both good. Unfortunately, the kink doesn't work for me, and I'm not the right reader for this story. If the fake relationship trope and ABDL are elements you enjoy, definitely give this a try.

Y’all. It was cute and sexy and sweet!
Daddy Gabriel was flawed in all the best ways but his genuine personality made up for it.
Rory wasn’t aware that he was little but he fell into it so easily and I really over him exploring that side of him.
The drama kind of wore me out. Like miscommunication is a pet peeve of mine and this one had quite a bit in it. It *kinda* felt like it wasn’t necessary and that’s why I could only go with 4 stars.
BUT the writing was good and the spicy scenes spiced, so I AM looking forward to reading more!

this was my first daddy/little book and i was hella nervous going into it because i had no idea what to expect 🙈
that being said i enjoyed it, the plot was there, the third act break up was there && the characters were alright. i think i would’ve liked to see them have more small moments together. the pacing was a bit fast for me but i kept up regardless!! 👏🏻
i would really rate this a 3.5 because again it kept me interested && i did enjoy it overall!

What a sweet story! The whole "Please be my boyfriend until X date because my friends are being annoying" and then falling in love is like catnip to me.

I enjoyed this. It wasn’t Daddy/little overkill. Rory and Gabriel were really good together from pretty much the first time they met. Things did happen super fast, and I was okay with that. I’m sure I’ll continue with the series. I do want to go back and read Reed and Jakob’s story, and then see if Anders has his yet. He may and I just haven't seen it yet.

It took everything in me to finish this one. NOTHING HAPPENS and I skimmed through the last 30%.
Could we also slow down on the gift giving? Feels like this is the only D/l avenue for authors, please give us more hurt comfort and suckling, help in the bathroom, shared playtimes ..

I'm a bit torn on this. So many, most really, Daddy/Little books are horribly written, just awful writing/betaing/editing, and this isn't bad on that end, not great, but definitely better than most. But this took me way too long to read even though I mostly enjoyed it, at least until the last twenty-ish percent anyway. It was really sweet overall, which is why I read these stories, but the constant "I love him, but I can't/won't tell him" on both ends just got annoying. Plus, the whole contrived drama at the end was stupid and unnecessary and almost made me want to quit reading. But I liked the characters, and I am curious about some of the secondary characters, so I may keep going with the series if it's in KU.

Not trying to kink shame, but this book was not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a cute story about a guy who hires another guy to pretend to be his date, and then they start dating for real. It goes beyond that. Gabriel is looking to hire someone to be his date, yes, but more than that, he needs someone to pretend to be his "little" at a fetish party. Rory is an adjunct professor trying to renovate his house, and agrees to be Gabriel's "little" in exchange for help with that. This was a whole world that I wasn't expecting and don't know how I feel about it.

This is pretty typical combination of daddy/little, fake dating, "I'm too busy/important for a relationship" and "I'm over my head in my life - help" but on the whole it was cute and I enjoyed it qite a bit. I liked the idea of fixing up an old Victorian house (maybe I watch too many reels of people doing renovation) and while I'm a bit over the "relationship with a time-limit" theme, on the whole, it was cute and fun.

This was my first in-depth dive into a M/M Daddy/little relationship. This is so involved with the kinks/lifestyle. As a “newbie” this felt like a safe place to learn. It was enjoyable to learn right along with Rory. Gabe was a very good teacher…wink wink. There’s a lot of trust involved between Gabe and Rory. Mind and body, it was such an enjoyable bond. There’s open communication, curiosity, teaching, learning. There’s plenty of “let me take care of you” and “let me take some of the weight on your shoulders”. Even though things are just meant to be unattached and fake by definition, Gabe and Rory are each other’s perfect match in all things. They were naturally domestic and it made my heart melt. Honestly, I’m glad this was my first deep dive book! It was so easy to love Rory and Gabe. My only blunder was the third act. There’s some drama, and normally this sort annoys me, but this one annoyed me in a totally different rage filled way. All that trust suddenly became nonexistent. And that change bothered me. BUT I need to take a moment to point out that this was a debut, and I didn’t learn that until I finished the book and I was blown away! This was written with so much heart and care!

J'ai beaucoup apprécié cette lecture tout en douceur, avec de la tendresse, de l'amour et du kinky.
On suit l'histoire de Gabriel, notre architecte overbooké par son travail qui n'arrive pas à s'épanouir dans son rôle de Daddy, et de Rory (aka Bunny) un prof d'université complètement détonant.
Par un heureux hasard, sûrement un alignement précis des planètes (et aussi parce que Gabriel a flashé sur Rory et n'a pu s'empêcher d'écouter sa conversation avec une dame), nos deux protagonistes se rencontrent et passent un deal : Rory doit se faire passer pour son petit ami (Garçon) lors d'un réveillon en échange d'aide pour rénover la maison léguée par son oncle.
Rory qui n'y connaît rien au monde du BDSM va découvrir que finalement, il a peut-être une place dans ce monde même s'il a des passe-temps soi-disant enfantins. J'aime beaucoup voir cette découverte, cette petite flamme qui grandit alimenté par de la bienveillance et de la tendresse qui permet à Rory de s'épanouir et de prendre confiance en lui.
Cette relation qui se développe entre Gabriel et Bunny est juste adorable, ça fait du bien à mon petit cœur de voir un amour qui grandit petit à petit entre eux. Gabriel est si attentionné et doux même s'il manque parfois un peu de tact.
Les quelques personnages secondaires sont aussi attachants avec Anders, le meilleur ami de Rory (qui mérite clairement mieux que son satané petit ami) et Reed et Jakob, un couple d'amis de Gabriel.
Je ne sais pas s'il y a une suite sur ces personnages secondaires mais si oui j'espère bien voir Anders reprendre sa vie amoureuse catastrophique en main (du balai le petit ami condescendant).

This book was absolutely great, I loved every second I was with Rory & Gabe.
This book gives a very nice insight into the Daddy/Little dynamic.
Rory is just the cutest and deserved all that he received from Gabe throughout. Gabe is the definition of a daddy right down to his core. These two had me captivated and I did not want to leave them at all for even a second.

The progression of Rory as a man but also as a little was beautiful to see unfold. He is able to process his love of picture books, stuffies and let go of being big and just be a little. His easy slide into that subspace was adorable. There of course are the challenges but when isn't there in a relationship.
Gabe was interesting to say the least. I was intrigued to who all he was at the beginning cause honestly who does that without creeping someone out but I was sold on him pretty quickly. His need to be there and take care of everything for Rory was not forceful but enough that there was no argument about it at all just a hesitance from Rory.
For a debut book this is absolutely fantastic. Yes it will not be for everyone and that's okay. I have read my share of Daddy/Little books and this is going to be a favorite for sure. Gabe & Rory will be added to my list of favorite couples in this dynamic.
Definitely a book I would recommend.

Gabe was interesting to say the least. I was intrigued to who all he was at the beginning cause honestly who does that without creeping someone out but I was sold on him pretty quickly. His need to be there and take care of everything for Rory was not forceful but enough that there was no argument about it at all just a hesitance from Rory.
For a debut book this is absolutely fantastic. Yes it will not be for everyone and that's okay. I have read my share of Daddy/Little books and this is going to be a favorite for sure. Gabe & Rory will be added to my list of favorite couples in this dynamic.
Definitely a book I would recommend.
