When shock-induced visions drive a detective specializing in the paranormal to a small town in South Dakota, he finds himself up against flesh-hungry bog-men, his ex-girlfriend, their mutual ex-girlfriend (did we mention she's a werewolf?), and a demon that's stolen his arsenal of psychedelics. Then things start to get weird. We live in strange times. They call for strange ways! NEW SERIES FROM BEDLAM'S RILEY ROSSMO! ALTERNATE COVER BY RAT QUEEN'S ROC UPCHURCH!

Another Riley Rossmo joint, the man has been on tear creatively. He has several titles released in 2013 and I've reviewed a few of them this year.
For a first issue, this wasn't a good jump-on point. I'm not sure if a missed a issue or something because I know this was the first issue, it's on the cover. It's like joining a race when a lap has already been run, I felt I had to do catch-up all the time while I was reading it. It was like swimming upstream trying to understand what was going on. A few more caption boxes to help the reader get up to speed would have been helpful.
Too all over the place and jumpy for me. Couldn't get into it. The characters weren't that appealing for me. It had a lot of potential and I was looking forward to trying it but was disappointed.
