Pain. Betrayal. Denial. Sacrifice. Hope.

One girl is escaping a world of abuse while another flees from her rapist. One girl slips away from slavery as another one runs away from a life of crime. One girl battles poverty while another one fights to win her life back.

What ties them all together? At one time or another, they all worked at Mama’s nightclub, selling their bodies to make a living.

And they all found a way out — a new life, new friendships, new chances, and new love. This is their story.

Meet the RUNAWAY girls. While their lives may have started out in dire straits and their paths may twist and turn, they’re all looking for redemption and happiness. They’re all learning how to be stronger, braver, and wiser. And whether they know it or not, they’re all selfless and relentless, making sacrifices in the hopes of a better future, never stopping until they make it.

Will keep you wanting more!

I enjoyed this series, the stories were raw but ended in happy endings for the most part. I do wish each story went more in depth though. each book is around 10 chapters, I feel stretching them out more and not having them be as rushed would have made this a 5 star series. I will be reading boundless next and hope that book is as good as the rest, well worth the money spent on them.

Loved it!!! This was such an heart wrenching story about some girls who had nothing and they ended up in a very bad place!! This series will open your eyes to a cruel, cruel world with lots of monsters!!! It will tug at your heart strings and leave you an emotional wreck!!! But in the end it all ends well for all!!! Loved it and I highly recommend !!!!

Stunning!

Stories of women overcoming some pretty horrific odds combined together in this collection of stories make for a fantastic roller coaster of emotions for the readers. Well worth every penny!! I haven't enjoyed a book this thought provoking in a long time!

3* is the average - Books 1-3 (Stronger, Braver and Wiser) would probably get 3.5-4*, books 4-5 (Selfless and relentless) 2.5-3* and the last book (Boundless) -1.5* - just because I really didn't care about it.

I read "Stronger", the first book, awhile ago, it was a free download and I decided to try. It wasn't an easy read, and there were parts that I needed to take breaks before I could continue but I enjoyed it and decided to read the others when I have the chance. And then the whole series was available for free download (including boundless).

This series is a chain series - a side character from a previous books get the lead in the next one, and they are mostly chronically organised. Although Stronger can be read as a stand alone, I am not sure the others could, but after each book it is possible to stop and not to continue to the next one.

The girls in the books escaped hard and sometimes dangerous situations, and found themselves penny-less in NY city, where they find themselves in Mama club, the realization what the club really is comes only later. They stay because they have no where else to go, and time pass. All the girls, mostly the first three, were driven out of the club due to circumstance.
In Stronger, Braver and Wiser, my preferred books, the girls mange to find someone that loves them and start a family, although it is not a smooth ride.
In the other two Selfless and Relentless the atmosphere is darker, and includes death, abuse and fleeing for once life. They both ends in positive tune, but I felt that it could have ended better.

My least favorite book, and the one I will probably will not read again was Boundless - Mama story, I felt like the author tried to make Mama more likable,

One point that was a bit weird to me, is the fact that after the first book the other girls do not ask for help from the one escaped before, and it especially bothered me in selfless. I guess it was so so their will be a story, but still.

The books are sometimes hard to stomach, they deal in topics that are not nice or easy, but they have their rays of light, that sometimes brought me a smile or just better feeling.

I would really like to read the Massage to Jasmine book, sound like a very interesting and eye opening book.

I laughed. I cried. I felt so much

Both series in this bundle evoked so much emotion. I truly enjoyed all the characters and their journeys. Couldn't put it down. Maybe I'll actually sleep tonight now I'm done.

Overall, there were some fantastic elements to the books making up this collection. The back story of each girl was so heartbreaking, and raw, that I wanted to hug each of them. The romances in each book were nothing more than a blip to me. It felt very strange to have such a gritty past, only to come upon insta-love afterwards.
My favorite stories were Jasmine, Blue and Pumpkin.

But the final story...Mama's...I admit that I skimmed a large portion of the time that she was in prison, and after she got out. It simply held no interest for me. But the end!!!!!! Never would have thought it would end the way it did. Woah.

Lexie Ray you should be making money on hardcover books. You definitely know how to weave a story.I also just finished Worthy. I did not watch TV because I could not put your books down. I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. Although I can't afford to buy many books, I do appreciate you and your work and the way that I was able to get them. I would have never imagined how good they were and I appreciate the fact hat they weren't cliffhangers to get you to buy more books. I do go to the library for books so please keep writing and I will be your faithful fan.

Wow this box set was amazing. The first book starts off featuring all the girls and the life they led. Each subsequent book is about one of the girls featured in book 1. Some of the books are hard reading due to the content but are a great read. Each of the girls have had a bleak start to life and at the Nightclub they did not get better. The only way thinks picked up was their escape and the way they moved on. Some have a quick HEA and some take time to move on.

The plot for each book is interesting, but they are all so badly written. Logic is thrown out the window, the rhythm of the book is too rushed. In just a few pages it can go from a loving mother to a bad mother or from a virgin who runs from home to protect her virtue to one who easily sells it when a stranger asks her.
I expected more inside, more emotion. It really didn't do it for me.

Great series

I loved reading this series. It flowed from one character's story to the next and no story was exactly alike. Similar in ways but real life is like that.

A great read

I enjoyed reading this series. I read all of the books as fast as I could. Each book was complete but was connected with all of the other books. A great idea.
