Fabulous series.

This is a fabulous series, the only issue I had at all was Mia she really got on my nerves and it shows just how good the first book 'Close Liasons' was that I continued on because she really did annoy me in the first book.
The second book 'Close Obsession' proved to be addictive reading the concept was excellent, the descriptions of the K centres wonderful. Mia still annoyed me in the beginning but this wore off as the book progressed, Korum again was, well what can I say I loved

This was one of the first "alien-type" stories I've ever read and Anna has spoiled me for other paranormal books of this type. Like... No alien so far has ever been able to compare to Korum. Lol.

I mean, the only books I've read that were genre-similar to this that were able to maybe stand beside this series was Evangeline Anderson's Brides of the Kindred book series.

Thank you, Anna, for introducing me to Mia and Korum.

They were my very first paranormal love!

I don't understand why this author is not more known... I read "Twist me" first and it was amazing! Happy me, she wrote a trilogy about aliens! Yay!

Soooo, you've got:

1) HOT, HOT aliens. Caveman style with a strong instinct to mate when they find their "other half";
2) Nanotechnology who'll help humans to live eternally (shoot me, just heard about it on the news. When science fiction meets reality);
3) A strong willed human female battling with the imposing and gorgeous alien;
4) Hot, hot sex scenes
Audiobook: Narrator – Robert Scarlato

Mr. Scarlato does an excellent performance of not only the main characters, but the secondary as well. Mia and Korum have very distinctive voices and I never struggled understanding him or enjoying his narration. I sometimes struggle with a male narrator doing a female voice, but not so in this case. I would gladly listen to anything he narrated.

I’ve had this series on my TBR forever! Now that I’ve read/listened to it, I’m totally kicking myself for waiting

3.5 Stars!
4 "I Wanna Be A Krinar" Stars

Audiobook Version with 3 Different Narrators

(I felt like Goldilocks with the trilogy having 3 separate narrators: #1 was too strong, #3 was too soft, and #2 was JUST right. I was sorry to see she had been replaced.)

Overall, I'm rating this with 4 Stars because I was completely caught up in the story. Indeed, I devoted most of three days to listening intently whenever I could.

That said, I had so many issues with Mia, who was not only so tiny she was the size of a hou

This was so good. Just... wow!! Wow wow wow wow!!! This was like too too good. Annoyingly good. GREAT. Like... DAMN THAT WAS GOOD!😫

Mia and Korum’s story was brilliant. This was the first alien romance book I’ve read (trilogy). It went above and beyond my expectations. I always loved Anna Zaire’s writing, but this was the first I read from Dima Zales. Let me just say they make me want to read more from them. I will definitely read more fr

4 5* I really love Anna Zaires' H's they are alpha, possessive, protective, loving, and sexy. They learn through the story arc to soften for a better relationship with the h. This is my second trilogy by Ms. Zaires and I loved her story arc, development and relationship building. Interesting take on alien invasion of earth.
p. 15 Just got to the part explaining that people are only allowed vegetarianism now.... Still not sure why the Ks get to make all the decisions for the world, but maybe it's cause they are hot (and hot controlling guys are totes worth it? -_-;;) Anyway, less clobbering over the head with environmentalism, pls...

p. 23 wow. I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish this.. You abduct someone off the street because a scrape of the hand "might scar" and it's raining, and then have the nerve to

The good.

Anna Zaires has created a very alluring & exotic world with the Krinar.
The romance between Mia & Korum is often thought-provoking, sometimes humorous and erotic. The Krinar technology astonishing.
For the most part the story flows easily and is well written.

The bad.

To much reiterating.
Once you describe an item or scene, there is no reason to repeat yourself continuously in a book. Basica

I liked this series. Hot, sexy, kinky alpha aliens have been my secret fantasy since I was twelve. The stories were erotic. They flowed well. The scenes were very descriptive. Not everyone will enjoy this series if they can't suspend their disbelief or are prudes or have issues regarding abuse.

First off, can we talk about the food porn in this book? Everything the author described when it came to eating was just mean, you can't describe other worldly dishes with such great detail and not wish it was in front of you. She should lose a star for that alone. ;)
Admittedly I've never read alien romance prior to picking up this series, but if I had to recommend a series to start with it would be this one. The characters are well developed and her alien world is believable. Well as believabl

I loved this series written by Anna Zaires and you will too. The characters are fully fleshed out and the story line will capture your imagination so much so that you will also want to continue your exploration into all things Krinar by reading the additional books written by other authors that go deeper into the lives of other Krinar. My favorite Paranormal/Alien series! Thanks, Anna!!!

Not really sci-fi in the true sense of the genre but a pleasant read nonetheless!

I really enjoyed the book with a few exceptions. I can't believe I am going to say it but too much sex (I know, maddness!) and too much emphasis on eating. I was wondering if the author was on a diet and turned those food cravings into Sex cravings. It just sort of lenghthened the novels.
What I loved about the book is that it was a great story line with good world building. The K have essentially taken over earth and live peacefully. Mia meets Korum (an alien), and begins a relationship with hi

This book was a very pleasant surprise for me. It's the story of a very handsome alien called Korum who falls in love with a human girl called Mia. Aliens have taken over earth because their own planet is nearing it's sell buy date! But this book is essentially a beautiful love story between our two main characters. You will be introduced to another way of life where everything is so advanced that nothing will be the same again for Mia and her family.
This author did a wonderful job of describing
Caught my interest

This is the series that got me interested in alien romance. Before reading this series I would have never even considered reading a romance novel with aliens as the love interests. Now I can safely say I've ventured into the sci-fi romance arena and it's all thanks to this series. Then again, before her Twist Me series, I never would have thought I'd be into that type of book either!

Very great sci-fi romance story! I love the Krinar Chronicles Series so much. The first time I have read this Series, I had borrowed it at the library. This time, I've purchased it. I love the two main characters, Mia and Korum. Korum is a very alpha alien male. This is a steamy sci-fi romance. I love the technology, well described in the Series. The sex scenes are very hot. Very well written, It kept my attention from the first page, to the end. If you like sci-fi romance, you have to read it!

Couldn't even finish it. Bunch of scenes strung together. Too preachy for me about the virtues of a vegan lifestyle. And to me, this was not an alien was a vampire romance, which I don't enjoy.
I absolutely and utterly loved this book and hopefully soon in the future there will be more of the Krinar..would love to even read more on Mia and Korum

I'm actually only 30% in right now but I have too much to say and it won't fit in a status update.

This review is spoilery! Do not enter if you have not read the story.

We have Mia. She's dumb as a box of rocks. For some unknown reason she catches the eye of Korum a powerful 'alien' leader. Korum decided that Mia is his. She has to cater to his every demand but hey the sex is hot so it's not all that bad.

But then Mia wants to go home for the summer, see her family work at her internship, normal

I couldn't wait to read this series! It was on my TBR from ages and even after I got it on my kindle I wasn't ready to read it for me it was one of those series that will take all my attention and emotions on a very twisty rollercoaster ride! But it wasn't the case it just wasn't for me I couldn't make myself like the heroine and being at first on the hero side he lost my attention soon enough as well. I love alien books and I love strong alpha men who want to possessed women only for themselves ...more

05/27/19 Close Liaisons
Finished book 1, Close Liaisons, today. I really enjoyed it. I had read it once before, but this time I'm listening to the audio book. I'm not usually interested in audiobooks, I just can't get into them. This one I really like. As for the story; it was just as good as the first time. I will say that at times Korum was a bit too persistent about things, but he was the perfect alpha male. Always thinks his way is the best. Mia was a good character, though at times I think s

Romance was ok. The action was actually pretty good but it got bogged down with the endless descriptions of the advancements. I know a book needs World building but Mia loses her memory so we hear about the same technologies in 2 different books then again when her family sees it. Mia who was supposed to be hesitant and wary fell quickly in love. Korum well I was suspicious of him the entire time. It was inexplicable that this 2,000 year old gorgeous, brilliant, highly respected (in his society) ...more

Book one was definitely my favorite. This was my first alien type book. Basically the book is about an alien species that comes to earth and essentially plants themselves in our world. As they are the stronger species, humans have no other choice but the accept their presence.
One day Korum, an extraterrestrial, meets human Mia. He knows right away that he “wants” her and basically takes her. The chemistry is nice a spicy, and Mia was very innocent until she meets Korum. There is some deceit an

Couldn't put it down

Anna Zaires has created an amazing dystopian world here that is easy to become engulfed in. Her characters are believable for the most part and the storyline has a few twists and turns I didn't see coming anyway.
I really loved how most of this book is talking about typical human objects and scenarios but Anna Zaires also had enough imagination to describe a whole new civilization as well.
I hope I can read more about this wonderful imaginative future and would love to see upd

I enjoyed the world building in these novels. The exploration of an alien civilization gives.the opportunity to go in so.many directions. While I think there were some missed opportunities over all I like the visuals created. I'm not sure I can see how someone who has been around for as long as Korum has would end up with someone as young as Mia so that didn't really work for me. I also felt that the tension that should have been there between the villain and everyone else kind of fell flat. I w ...more

This is definitely worth the five stars I have given it. I loved the characters of Mia and Korum, a young Earth girl and a (not so young) gorgeous alien man. They have various relationship problems to contend with, plus some scary adventures. There is also romance with lots of hot sex. Phew! I have read a lot of books by this author Anna Zaires and I consider her one of the best writers of this style of fiction around. Her characters are so believable you can’t help getting engrossed in
