This story was a light, cute story.

I liked the story, characters and writing.

Normally romance isn't my thing, but I so fell in love with this book! The story is adorable(please don't stone me for using that word!)and I instantly fell in love with Emerson from the very beginning with all her badassery. All the characters are relatable and everything about the story is so down to earth. When I finished, I found myself with a huge smile on my face.

For those who know me, they will know that if there is one theme that I can't pass without reading the books. That theme is what I like to call Geek Chic Lit. The cover of this book had me at Nerd. Once I opened it and got into it, other favorite aspects of mine started to fall into the story from hacking to being a P.I to musicians and of course the Geeky girl getting the hot guy who turned out to have a bit of inner geek in himself. In Boy Meets Nerd, we are introduced first to the "Nerd" aka ...more

DNF at 26%.

The subplot of Levi's so called love for Hope is weird and it seems more as time goes on that he loved her because she was pretty not for her personality.

Emerson on the other hand is a hacker/private detective/mathematicion? She is increasingly confused and the inability of the author to convey Emerson's "nerdiness" is just typical. Em is into "numbers" but also a huge programmer? Maths and Programming ARE NOT THE SAME DISCIPLINE. They are related and use stuff from the other but they

OMG !!!!!! I'm still hyper from this book !!! it's soooo freakin' cute and hot you don't know which way to go first !!!!

Boy Meets Nerd begins when Levi needs to hire a hacker to figure out if it his getting "catfished." He thinks he's in love with his dream girl, but the problem is he's never actually met her before. So, he hires brilliant hacker Emerson to figure out who the girl is, and if she's telling the truth. Emerson is not your typical nerd though. She's a little rough around the edges, and not really afraid to speak her mind. And she can't seem to stop thinking about Levi, even though he's already taken. ...more

I was puzzled by this story. Yes, the heroine is a nerd and the author does a good job of making her act like one instead of just being described as one. The hero was a bit of a let down, though. A gorgeous (of course) musician who's really a secret nerd and acts like an idiot. That's my take on him.

It was well written. It has a HFN ending. I kept reading until the end. That's about all I have to say about this story.

Boy Meets Nerd is not your typical boy nerd meets and catches hot girl romance.
Emerson is a recent graduate of MIT trying to scrape by earning money using her hacking skills to catch cheating significant others. She has spent her life keeping everyone but her computer at arms length, filling the void with work when Levi enters her life. Levi is a gorgeous and sweet musician looking for Em to prove his online love isn't really a catfish. As time goes by and Emerson searches for information Levi

Girl is nerd, tomboy and clueless about boys. Cute, easy-going guy is thrown in her way due to a twist of fate. Boy meets girl, can see through everything, falls for her and avoids her defenses until he gets her. It is an adorable plot but, in this case, it didn't went very well. I think the problem might be the guy, he was too naive. He was already talking about marriage to a woman he never landed his eyes on, after only 4 months of communicating to each other. He was also too easy-going to tal ...more

This book was a sweet refreshing read. It's one of those books that just make you smile. I don't know which character I loved more Emerson or Levi, they both have that quirky sexy thing going for them.

Emerson is your average stereotypical nerd. She's had few friends and even fewer lovers she's just too busy to notice or care until she meets Levi. He makes her feel and that is foreign for her. Levi is lovesick for his internet dream girlfriend, but she's keeping something from him. He hires Em t

There is nothing I love more than good, snarky characters. And Em is AMAZING. She is snarky. She is funny. She is nerdy. She is antisocial - or at least she seems to be. At one point she is referred to as a dragon. At another a robot. And although that could be insulting, it was just endearing and made me love the boy even more. And THE BOY....and oh boy, what a boy he is. Using the term boy seems inappropriate, but that's neither here nor there. This story is funny, sweet, endearing, and kept m ...more

I love a good nerd romance! Emerson is a hacker and obsessed with numbers, to pay the bills she is a private investigator over the computer. Levi is a struggling musician and fell for a girl he met online. Levi is worried he is being catfished so he hires Emerson to look into his online girlfriend, Hope Love. I enjoyed this book, there was some good humor and some pretty hot steamy scenes. I was slightly frustrated with both Emerson and Levi at times but overall I did like these characters.

I'm not one for reviews, I actually never write them. However I basically fell in love with this book right off away and I cannot wait to read more. I love nerd girls and nice but still intense guys!
I believe this will be a new favorite series of mine so if you could just write a ton of books with this theme I'd be set. Thanks so much!

Great Book

I really liked this book. It was so nerdy and cute. The two main leads were so different yet so cute together. Also, the writing was good.

It's not that this was bad. It was okay, and in many ways a sweet story. It's just that there was nothing to make this story stand out from the many, many offerings in this genre.

This is a very timely story about love and the social media.

Emerson is a hacker. Yes, she's a girl (funny name for a girl eh?) and a hardcore hacker. She's in the middle of finding out what she really wants in life when she suddenly gets a request from this guy Levi, to spy on his online girlfriend. She's the tomboy type of girl, but when Levi butts into her life, she gets the biggest problem ever. Falling for the client who's about to get his heart broken.

*I received this book for an honest review*

I totally loved this book and certainly didn't want it to end. I got into it right from the start and didn't want to stop reading. For me, it was one of those books that kept my attention and kept me reading from start to finish and was over far to quickly. As I get to know each of two main characters I fell in love with aspects of each of the characters, such as the looking for happily ever after in Levi and the in-your-face attitude of Emerson. I hope

This book was very different and hilarious.

Emerson is a graduate from MIT and is a skilled hacker.
Her ambition in life is to discover the greatest prime number (greater than the existing one which is (2^57,885,161) − 1, a number with 17,425,170 digits.(There is a proof by Euclid that there is no largest prime- but trying to discover a new prime number is COOL! *I would if I could*)

I loved Emerson. She was funny, sweet and nice.

Levi is a musician.

I love offbeat characters so this book appealed to me.
Em is a hacker who is dedicated to finding prime numbers, but until she accomplishes this goal she makes a living investigating people suspected by their partners of cheating. Levi is a musician who wants to compose soundtracks for games but until he can afford the equipment he needs, he teaches kids the guitar. I am somewhat a computer geek, nothing compared to Emerson but to those around me I am the go to girl! I can relate to being geeky and single minded. I loved this story. I loved the fairytale with a kick. It was great reading and kept me going. Plus it was a great break from the bad boy, good girl story. No one was broken, no one needed fixed. It was refreshing.

***Good enough: It was worth reading. Once. We liked it. It was good enough that we don’t regret reading it and would be willing to read others in the series.

I liked the hero and the heroine. I didn't think either of them were that great or that frustrating either. Kat was pretty quirky and cute, but I wish she was more developed. In particular, the details about her home life which were constantly eluded to, but never addressed when you actually met her family. Same with Levi's character, like

Typical Love story crap.
Boy meets Girl and vice versa.
Only the Boy here is in a relationship with an Online Persona and so seeks the services of the Girl who is super smart and self-conscious. Like, except for Beyonce, who isn't? Anyway, Boy asks Girl to find out stuff about Online Persona and instead of being like unbias, objective, and professional about it, surprise, surprise! Girl gets feelings for Boy and then sh*ts happened. Seriously, the characters are so lame and practically irrelevant

A Review from a Reviewer for In The Pages ... "Erin"

For me, this book was just okay.

The storyline itself was fine but I felt there was something lacking for me. I don't think it flowed all that easily. Normally I don't mind insta-love but this time it was a little hard to accept with the really short timeframe of the book.

There were some moments that didn't really seem to tie into any part of the story for me, and there was one moment where I actually said to myself "Okay, I get she likes mat

This was a cute book. It’s interesting what Em does and I really like Levi. However, while I like that Em is a strong heroine, Levi is not my favorite hero. He’s a little naïve and I don’t like how seemingly easily he swayed to Emerson after “Hope”. His feelings are frequently very confusing, maybe because he was so often confused. There were some cringe-worthy moments, but overall it was a nice romance, though highly predictable.

Boy Meets Nerd is a sweet if somewhat stereotypical romance that a

I liked Emerson and Levi with each other, but I struggled with Emerson's hacking into people's accounts and lack of awareness or at least comment on how illegal what she was doing was. I also didn't like Levi's obsession with Hope. I would have preferred that he had completely ended things with a He prior to he and Emerson really getting together. That being said I really, really liked the parts where Levi and Emerson were just together talking and just hanging together,
