Well, I have to say the beginning of this book was one big “side holding” laugh! I fell in love with 16 year old Delilah and her antics. When we get to the point of Delilah at 28 – she is such a peach – trying to be the sophisticated suave corporate worker, instead we get blunders and flashbacks t ...more

I must have missed the synopsis because when I read this, I'd expected it to be a teen novel. And when it wasn't I was pleasantly surprised. I guess the twelve years caption on the cover should have alluded me, but yeah.

Wow! I don't even know where to start. Junior Bridesmaid is the total package. It's the perfect mix of witty and heartfelt with a healthy dose of sarcasm.
Delilah Welling is 16 years old and head over heels in love with the man of her dreams. The only problem is he is also the man of Darcy Strong's dreams...and they're getting married...and Delilah is thei ...more
In The Junior Bridesmaid, we meet Delilah: the sixteen year old, awkward, flat-chested, heroine of this story. And while most of the story takes place 12 years later, the first few chapters were epically funny, painting a perfect picture of an embarrassing incident she endures during a wedding where ...more

This was a quirky, giggle inducing fast read. I will never look at lamb chops the same again.
Delilah Welling has been in love with Hugh Rowen for as long as she can remember. The problem? He is 5 years older and engaged to marry her arch nemesis....YUCK! So what's a girl to do but suck it up and be a junior bridesmaid to what she considers the wedding from hell. Only things don't always work out the way we think they will. We all read a synopsis and anticipate what the story would be and as I started my journey into the pages I was enjoying it but said to myself ok, same old plot but was liking it all the same. Then bam 12 years later. I know it says it in the synopsis but somehow I forgot that part and the shenanigans start all over again. As I continued reading I felt every emotion but never expected the various scenarios that hap ...more
at first I felt it was a little hard to connect with this book whilst in the teenage years but when it switched I began to love it Stacey needs a full force clatter across the face I felt that was missing BTW :-) at times I wanted to smack Hugh upside the head, I loved the twists and turns, this book was funny, sexy and romantic and I really liked it, well done Amy great read
I was not disappointed in any way. I loved this story so much! I will be reading this again one day, when I need something to feel good about.
Amy Baker is on my radar... I anxiously await her next book!
I think this book is really amazing in my opinion. It has the same premise as the typical paperback romance novel with steamier sex and more laughs and I thought it came together nicely.
“if I could be with one person for one night in a perfect world where no one would know, who would my free pass go to?”
If given the choice, I prefer music to television and warm weather to cold. And, despite my name, I really don't like to bake. :)
