From the author and illustrator team of The Creator in You comes a fresh and compelling picture book about what God's heavenly kingdom will be like—and the place in it that he's saving just for you.Jesus said He won’t stay in the clouds way up there. He’ll bring heaven to earth, and He’ll live with us here.Scripture teaches Christians that we should look forward with hope and joy to the day when God will make all things new—so why do many feel boredom or even dread when picturing God's heavenly kingdom? Bestselling author Jordan Raynor follows up his successful picture book The Creator in You with an exciting, hope-filled look at what the Bible really tells us about heaven and the New Earth. Far from being the end of our story, it's just the beginning of a new life filled with all the things we love about the earth—animals, music, adventure, and meaningful work—but without any of the things that make this world sad and broken.Based on Scripture and told with engaging rhyme and epic illustrations, The Royal in You is sure to become a go-to resource and beloved readaloud for families of faith.

Through his bestselling books (The Creator in You, Redeeming Your Time, Master of One, and Called to Create), the Mere Christians podcast, and his weekly devotionals, Jordan has helped millions of Christians in every country on earth connect the gospel to their work.
In addition to his writing, Jordan serves as the Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, a venture-backed tech startup which Jordan previously ran as CEO following a string of successful ventures of his own.

“The Royal in You” is a precious rhyming children’s book that shares the message of Jesus’s second coming and what life will be like in Heaven. The nostalgic illustrations are lovely, diverse, and unique, and the story has a gentle, uplifting atmosphere to it. I like how the story uses imagination of what we might explore or create.
There is a note to parents in the book that is helpful in pointing out Scripture verses that support the story. It also shares information on free resources. And always a plus with me—a presentation page for gift giving is included in the front of the book.
This is a beautiful children’s picture book with gentle storytelling through rhyme that gives it extra-special appeal.

I appreciate Jordan’s why behind this book—to help kids know and understand what God’s Word says about heaven, to dispel confusion, boredom, or fear about the topic. A sequel to The Creator in You, the poetry and pictures in this book about the day King Jesus descends and brings heaven to earth are equally mesmerizing. “When heaven comes down, we’ll all rush to meet Jesus, bringing paintings, inventions, and gifts for Him with us.” It’s all very moving, from hugging long-lost loved ones to the majesty and beauty of “God’s epic new world.”
But like The Creator in You, there’s a second half. “And now you might think that our story is ending, but in fact, this is just the beginning. Because Jesus wants you to rule with Him—to explore and fill the kingdom of heaven with Him. . . . God says He won’t rule this world all on His own—He’ll send princes and princesses out from His throne.”
How might we rule with him in the new world? What will we do? The author and illustrator throw out some reasonable and fun ideas, offering us a glimpse of what we’ve ultimately been created for—eternal life with our Creator on New Earth (Isaiah 65:17–22; Rev. 22:5).
