Okay so my not so guilty pleasure is reading the books of this amazing woman, Rebecca Chance. When she followed me on Twitter we had some fantastic conversations and I promised I would read this book ASAP. I eventually got round to reading it over the past few days and I LOVED it.

I'm going to admit that the subject didn't really excite me, weddings and brides aren't something I would ordinarily choose to read about but I knew I co

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would enjoy Bad Brides as much as I did. I don't know why, but I absolutely freaking' LOVED this and I now want to read all of Rebecca Chance's previous books to make up for lost time.

The plot of Bad Brides was incredibly easy to follow. Rebecca wrote smoothly, her sentences neatly strung together, and there were many moments within the story where my cheeks had no option but to blush. Now, I love a steamy novel, but this was just something else. Ou

Jodie Raeburn, editor of the first ever issue of Style Bride, has a big task on her hands. She needs to determine who will be on the first cover. Will it be actress Milly who is getting married to musician Tarquin or Brianna, an American pageant winner how is getting married to the Count of Respers, Edmund? There is no better way then to let both couples know that they are in the running and then let them fight it out among themselves.

I've heard a few times that Rebecca is called by many the "Qu

Hello my name is Zarina and I am a Chanceholic... I have a serious addiction to Rebecca Chance's novels and even though I just turned the final page of Bad Brides, I'm already craving more of the delightfully scandalous and glitz and glamour world of her books. She always manages to combine the most outrageous scenarios and deliciously saucy scenes with well-written characters and a continuously intriguing storyline so th

Review: this is such a fun idea for a book, two brides battling it out, not only to be the cover star of a magazine, but also to find their place in a higher class of society that they are used to. I enjoyed reading this book, I found it a little slow in parts but that didn't make me want to stop reading on. I think sometime the lack of pace that I found was due to the wonderful descriptions that this author included and I wouldn't have wanted those left out for the world-she describes everythin ...more

I've read every Rebecca Chance book and this did not disappoint, whilst my favourite is still Bad Girls, all the "Bad" books still have my heart over the "Killer" ones. My favourite thing to do in Rebecca Chance novels is to find any links to the last books, throwaway lines that tell me how my favourite couples are doing, there were so many in this book I could have cried, not all of my favourites but more than enough.

Honestly, the blurb tells the general plot so I'm just going to go over the m

If you are looking for a novel that’s a bit naughty but full of fun and frolics then look no further – Bad Brides has it in spades.
When Jodie, editor of Style UK decides to launch Style Bride she wants THE best celebrity wedding to have pride (or bride?) of place on the coveted front cover. There are two contenders; the first is sweet American Brianna Jade, former pageant princess and daughter of the famous Fracking Queen, Tamra, who has arranged her daughter’s wedding to the Earl of Respers in

"Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I am a fully-fledged Chancer, I really enjoy Rebecca Chance's steamy sex scenes". Sorry, I had to get that out. Yes, I am a Chancer! PROUD TO BE ONE! Okay, in case you don't know, the term "Chancer" is for people who love what Rebecca Chance writes. Gosh, we're talking about the Queen of Bonkbuster here. No one can write a naughty, steamy sex scene like Rebecca Chance (also known as Mother Chancer).

The Queen of Bonkbuster is b

Thank you to Simon and Schuster UK and NetGalley for approving me for this ARC! I’ve been quite excited about reading more of Rebecca’s books since I read Killer Queens back in October last year and I have not been able to look at a banana the same way since!

This is the tale of two brides. Two brides in with a chance of becoming the first cover bride of new magazine Style Bride and with that massive opportunity at stake the fight to come out on top gets down right ferocious!
Milly is a social cli

Firstly I’d like to thank ed pr for sending me this book to read and give an honest review. I’ve enjoyed previous books by this author (reviews on my blog) so I was looking forward to getting stuck in to this one.

The character introductions at the beginning of the book gave me a very clear impression of what their personalities were like. The two sets of couples and the people who surrounded them were all very interesting although for some reason I found myself more drawn to Brianna Jade and Edm

Can I just start by gushing over how much I LOVE Rebecca Chance? She is a TRULY amazing writer and I have thoroughly enjoyed every book of hers so far! Having recently got married in the last year I am all about weddings in books and so I was VERY excited to read Rebecca’s latest release.

Bad Brides tells the story of two brides, each with the opportunity to be the cover bride of the magazine Style Bride….but who will be on it? With the ladies determined to come out on top, and do whatever it tak

This is a book for Mature Audiences if it was a TV show it would be TVMA LS if it was a movie it would probably be XXX. Now I know the author is famous for her “bonk busters” and I have read enough of her books to be unsurprised by the sex but this book goes beyond any of her others. And if you grab the Kindle sample it really doesn't hint at how explicit this book is.

My other disappointment is with the characters. In other books by this author there is character development. This book utilizes

I love Chance's books, ever since I stumbled upon Bad Girls, I've read each one I can find. Rebecca Chance writes books that are fun, flirty and a pure frivolous, escapist read that can perk up a day, or be a perfect beach read.

Bad Brides is no exception to the rule. The premise is pure fun, two brides to be, battling it out to be the Style bride of the year, one with a scheming mother who takes no prisoners, the other with an ego the size of the UK. I love how Chance always picks characters th

I love a good bonk buster and this is more than a good bonk buster. You know with a Rebecca Chance book that you are getting over the top escapism that at times is down right filth...wish she could write quicker!

So with Bad Brides we have two brides competing for the cover of Style Bride. Ex beauty Pageant queen Brianna Jade (BJ to her friends!) who has relocated from America with her mum to marry English Earl, Edmund (who is definitely the type of man who would usea penis beaker #justsayin). T

I am a fan of Rebecca Chance’s books, so was I very excited to receive an early copy of her new book. What I love about Rebecca's books is the cast of characters in each book are always so vibrant and hilarious and the world she creates so glitzy glamorous and entertaining.

Bad Brides didn't disappoint me, once I picked it up I couldn't put down. A fabulous cast of characters once again and a brilliant well written story line, I especially loved reading about Tamra Maloney the Fracking Queen. I w

Oh my days the sex scenes in this were amazingly raunchy. Chapter six had my blood pounding but at the same time I was more than a little embarrassed to be caught reading such filth.
As for who will be Style Bride's cover girl, that was a totally obvious one. I knew from the first chapters with each couple roughly what would happen.
Still this is worth a read.

Okay so I love Rebecca Chance and her books but there is a area of predictability to her stories. Characters start with one person and then they spilt and end up with someone else.

It was nice to see former characters and to read about Jodie and see Princess Sophie again.

Hope the next one won't be predictable with characters swapping partners.

I wasn't sure about this as I judged the book by the cover. However, I suspended my disbelief and got swept along with the story. Well created characters, maybe a touch too much scene setting for me and some great little twists. I did see the ending coming (pardon the pun) but was very glad to see one particular couple weather the storm.

I really enjoyed this book, I don't like to give away spoilers in my reviews but will say that only a four star from me because ....

of the main characters I'd have liked to have seen more of one and less of another ... saying that it doesn't detract from the story at all and is only me being really picky!

My first Chance book, initially I had my doubts over it. She does describe some things like garden and dresses and almost everything to the tiny details. However once I accepted that as an writing style , the story took over. Absolutely delightful read. I was almost sad to finish the book. Love it :)

Loved this! What a glorious romp! Laugh out loud funny, raunchy and enthralling I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was predictable obviously I knew from a third in who was going to end up with who but it was enjoyable all the same.

Haven't read anything by this author before, I feel like if I had I'd know what to expect.

I can see that people enjoyed this book but for me, nothing really happened. Honestly I felt it was mostly sex scenes and very little story.

Rarely does a book make me laugh out loud as much as this one did. Rebecca's writing is razor-sharp, sparkling with wit and fun, and I thought the sex scenes were incredible. I'm kind of sad I read this before my holiday, as it would make a fab poolside read.

Rebecca Chance was born in Hampstead to international art dealer parents, and grew up in the exclusive millionaire’s row surroundings of London’s St John’s Wood. Tiring of her cushioned, privileged existence, she ran away to Tuscany to live a wild bohemian life on a wine-making estate, where she lived in a 14th century villa in a Chianti vineyard, partying with artists, learning Italian, and picki ...more
