Bright yellow sunflowers in a golden vase. Deep purple irises and pink-blossomed peach trees, blanketing the Arles. The Post-Impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh painted some of the most vibrant and beautifully textured flowers in art history. They are also among the most popular; the images of choice to hang on walls everywhere. Van Gogh’s genius is on gorgeous display in this fold-out collection of some of his finest floral paintings.
This item would make it nice gift to a young person going to college or moving into a first apartment who also likes the artist. It's an easy, compact, and impermanent way to decorate.
This is a fold-up version of vibrant, glossy prints of a few of Van Gogh's most popular works. I love almost all of his work. I don't care how popular or how much it is used anywhere, my heart still skips a beat or there's a catch in my breath upon viewing almost any of his many paintings. He's my guy. Ah, then there is Matisse. See how great are museums and art history courses?! Maybe not a resume builder but you will learn about the world in ways that are important no matter what anyone says.
Great find at HPB for an interesting way to decorate shelves or furniture with various favorites of this artist. Flexible and useful for some shallow shelves I have but don't want to leave empty. Can pair up with another piece (like a tall vase) nicely. Similar to a triptych I guess.
