The Best Kind of Trouble is a great addition to the New Adult Genre, with the love triangle and normal teenage drama, it is perfectly written from start to finish. This book isn't different from any other book, it has the beautifully written main character that is Ashley who has known hurt before in her life, so it is only natural for her to be cautious about the people she lets into her life. Ashley also seems to fall for the bad boy, or cheating boy if you count her ex-boyfriend who broke her ...more

The Best Kind of Trouble is the first book that I have ever read by Courtney B. Jones and I went in to this one not really knowing what to expect. For some reason, I thought this was a stand alone so when I got to the end I was pretty surprised. This book is the first in the Trouble series, and the ending definitely leaves the reader wanting more and with a lot of questions. For me though, this book left me with mixed feelings. It is hard to p

I'm honestly quite conflicted about my opinion of this book. Being a musician myself, I was really looking forward to reading a book featuring a girl who writes and makes music. I adore the fact that music is a main aspect of this story, and enjoyed the lyrics that were included in the story. That's the good - now for the not-so-good...

The main character is, unfortunately, infuriating. The entire story is kind of odd, and throughout the whole thing, I kept thinking: “Ok, I guess technically that

Before I start this review, I just want to say I don't like writing negative reviews, but sometimes it just can't be helped. This book did not work for me in any way, but looking at the Goodreads ratings, others found it quite enjoyable. My review will be a little bit spoilery, so keep that in mind if you think you might read the book. I also want to say I applaud the author for the premise of the book. It sounded interesting. I can't imagine how

The Best Kind of Trouble by Courtney B. Jones is the first book in her Trouble series.

I was a little leery going into this thinking "Oh no, another love triangle story!!!!" But it isn't. Not really. I wanted to slap the stupid out of Ashley a couple of times but when you get your heartbroken it makes sense to be on the super-defensive.

Nathan is a stud that makes some wrong choices but he never stops fighting for love, even when he is no longer in Ashley's face or at her doorstep, she still knows

Ashley Parker has had enough of dating , especially dating arrogant jerks who think they are so all that. Especially since her latest boyfriend ended up cheating on her and with someone she thought was her friend. The break-up occurs at a party and this is where Ashley first meets Nathan. It's a hi/bye glimpse and leaves with Nathan calling her dollface. A couple of months down the track and Ashley can not get Nathan and their quick introduction out of her mind. It seems as we are about to disco ...more

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you Itching for Books and Courtney B. Jones for the opportunity to read the Best Kind of Trouble!

So here I was thinking I'm going to read another triangle love story. It wasn't exactly that, but the main character Ashley annoyed me a bit. Apart from that, the story was great.

Ashley Parker thinks dating isn't for her anymore, relationships aren't for her. She just had a lot of bad luck when it comes to men, especially her last boyfriend

The Best Kind of Trouble is great and interesting read.

Ashley Parker sure does know what trouble means. When he last boyfriend cheated on her that was enough. She had enough of bad, jerk boys. She meets Nathan and was instantly attracted to him. She tried to stay away from him, but he was persistent. With time she get to the conclusion that he is like every other guy she has been with.

Her heart was once again broken when she met Caleb. Caleb is great guy. She was attracted to him but did not wan

I really liked this one, I just wish there was more novels out for this series. It was supremely great!

Ashley Parker is still trying to get past her recent break-up.  Colin, the boy who avoided labeling their relationship, slept with her friend, and his half-assed, "I'm sorry," isn't doing the trick.  Enter Nathan Williams, star player both on the football field and off, and things are about to get messy.  Nathan is James Dean cool and knows just how good looking he is, but though Ashley knows better than to fall for his charms, she can't help herself.  It seems Nathan is equally unable to fight

First off, let me warn you that this review is going to contain spoilers. Probably lots of spoilers because it would be impossible to review without mentioning things in the book. But they need to be mentioned because they are what has contributed to my rating.

The ease of the writing made The Best Kind of Trouble a really quick read. However there were a fair amount of grammatical errors like missing words, misspelled words and such.

I think that firstly I have to sa

Sometimes you read a book and you just know to characters are written to be together? Thats how i felt with Ash & Nathan, from Ash's timid nature to Nathans sexy charm, it always felt like they belonged, throw in a sexy guitarist and everything changes, as a reader you doubt what they once had, and end up with no clue who to root for.

We follow Ash as she falls head over heels for Nathan, despite all the warning signs, she does it anyway and once more ends up hurting. Stuggling to get over Na

The story

Ashley Parker is tired of boys. So her plan is: have a fun-and-with-no-strings relationship and stay way from trouble. But is Nathan Williams th exception?

The characters

Nathan Williams is the best and worst kind of trouble Ashley could ask for. Nathan is a player because he's never found the right girl to have a serious relationship with. Not until Ashley...

On the other hand, Ashley just broke up with her boyfriend. She just wa

I grew up in Texas where I still live with my husband, our two kids, and two dogs. I'm a recent college grad and an elementary school teacher.

I love to read and write love stories. I have an obsession with books. I own far far too many!
