BOTTOM LINE: Another lovely book from Tricoter, filled with good-looking patterns and careful instructions.

I really liked their earlier book (Simply Beautiful Sweaters) and looked forward to this one, and wasn't disappointed. Written story stuff every knitting book seems to use these days was chatty but not too much so, and helpful in many ways, giving careful instructions all along the way. All the pattern stitches are completely described within the patterns, which is my favorite method (I hate charts!). And a big plus is Tricoter's method of charting the design shapes with their measurements carefully illustrated - very clear and easy to read, and the designs are very good as well, not too complex, comfortable-looking, and the sort of things that someone might actually wear! (grin). Recommended.

Every time I make a sweater from this book, I get requests for more. Beautiful, classic patterns for everyone from your husband to your grandpa.
