This is the second chapter of the book, “The Vampire’s Housekeeper.” This chapter was, as the first, generously given free by the author. (See my review of the first chapter, “Employment Interview with a Vampire.”) In addition to Diedre, the narrator/housekeeper, and Nathaniel, the 300 year old vampire with anachronistic views on women who has voted for Eisenhower in the last number of elections, we are also introduced to a couple of resident ghosts; Dex, artist and former nuclear-disarmament ac ...more

I'm becoming a fan of this series. I loved the first. The second is even funnier. Nathaniel is, by far, the best vampire ever. I hope he never starts to sparkle.
