Anime vibes!

Reading this book feels very much like how it would feel to read an anime in novel form. Everything from the pacing to the characters to the world itself feels like a Shonen anime.

It has an almost episodic feel in the pacing. As such, it might be a good fit for readers who like to stop every once in a while to think about and digest what they are reading.

Of course, with something that feels like a Shonen anime, you can expect the power of friendship to be a major theme, and something that I found really cool was that there's actually an in universe explanation for why friendship makes the main character stronger. It also has themes of loss, standing for what's right against impossible odds, and forgiveness.

I'd definitely love to see where the characters go after this book and what they have in their future!

Ok... that was good.

Just a plain old progression fantasy with "the power of friendship" and 'talk'no jujitsu' being the main character's powers.
The influences of Naruto, One Piece and Bleach are obvious when one is quite familiar with 'the big 3' from the early 2000s, but it is it's significantly different that it is completely it's own story.
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to our Nomads.

This book is awesome! I can’t wait for the story to continue! The characters are well developed and the word pictures make you feel as if you are in the story.
