Two lovers reunite after a couple of months apart. Great writing, however I´m not a fan of the female Domme, that´s why my review is lukewarm. So very sorry, just my personal preference. Quick, short read (46p)
The premise of this story is that the hero and heroine met while away from home and fell madly in love. After a bit of time apart, they are reunited, though they fear their time together will be brief as they each have doubts that the other can handle their secrets.
I have to say, I had issues with nearly every part of this book. There is very little background information or character development, and you are sort of thrown into the story with little clue as to what is going on. This is apparently part of a series, though there is no indication that it is not meant to be a stand-alone.
Personally, I found it quite difficult to believe in a couple that have supposedly fallen so deeply in love, while at the same time hiding important issues and not even remotely being themselves. The lack of connection between the characters does not help this issue. As a whole, I found the story to be a tad simplistic and unrealistic.
Family Reunions just got a bit more interesting. Triplets, two married and one almost couple. Nicole & Abel met in a park in Paris, spend two wonderful months together before Nicole goes home. Fast forward three months and you find the couple finding one another again in Paris, both with secrets to share. These aren't your average, ordinary or even simple secrets....nope. Hang on to your stripper poles.....this is going to get down and dirty.
In the final installment of the Three series we learn more about Abel's story and how his HEA comes about. He met Nicole in Paris and she has a secret, he also has a secret and once the secrets are out surprises are in store for both!
It's a decent short... certainly quite hot, but next to no character development. I picked it up after reading her short inside the Captured bundle, but this story compared to that one seemed a bit rushed.
