This recipe book was okay. I wanted to expand my culinary horizons so I read this book. A lot of the recipes didn't seem interesting enough for the effort, and some of them didn't taste too good. I think Asian cuisine is mostly unami flavors though, so that would make sense. I'm more of a savory person. There was one recipe I liked. The shrimp tempura was delightfully crunchy.

For my kosher kitchen, yes! I make something from this book almost every single week! If you love Asian cuisine, good health, want to make your own, authentic green curry paste, have Thai basil growing in your home garden, then absolutely do this book.
