Is this going to be the final book of this never ending series? I'm not sure how much longer I can continue to pay by the hour for short stories.

It's been a while since I read the Arrangement series. I remembered that book 12 ended with Avery and Sean being shot at while they were in the middle of some sexy time right in front of their cabin's bedroom window. So this is where we pick up. Sean is laying on top of Avery, shielding her from the shards of broken glass. Both seem to have suffered some injuries but nothing life threatening. Sean goes out in search of the gunman but it's Avery who ends up taking matters into her own hands when the shooter shows up in the cabin while she's alone.
The two end up back in the city and are planning to catch the person who's trying to kill Avery. They're hiding out in her dorm room thinking this is where they will catch him.
Avery receives a rather interesting engagement present from Sean. I seriously did not know that such a thing existed!! Learn something new every day!
There are definitely some really HOT sexy times but at one point things get really dark and creepy between them. I forgot that Sean is a bit of a creeper in that he gets off by scaring the shit out of his partner. I just think this fetish is so bizarre. I really like Sean and wish H.M. Ward would have left this out of the story. I truly don't understand why he likes this but it's looking like soon we will find out his story.
The ending threw me for a loop.
Every time I think Sean is a good guy and that he's madly in love with Avery, something comes up that gives me a total mind fuck!
I'm not sure what to think now!!

WTF was this. I am so pissed after reading this, I thought the series was finally heading in the right direction with the previous installments but this one sets it all back. First off I want to know WTF this series isn't over yet? Then WTH is wrong with Sean and these women and letting Black come in there and telling Avery to go with them. I understand you have to have drama but there is a point when shit needs to end and its past that time. I don't know what is going on with this storyline at all Sean has so many secrets and it seems like everyone is playing Avery I wouldn't care if she left and never talked to any of them. Why is Black so intent on having Avery in the 1st place nothing seems real.

We start off with the final scene of installment twelve playing out, but in Sean's POV. The incident conjures up the ghosts of his past and a shit-ton of fear. But as Avery and Sean run from whomever is after them, they meet an old friend of ours, Mari. This just got me way more excited for Trystan's book to be released, seeing Mari again and getting a bit of a feel for where she's at in life was the perfect set up for the upcoming release.
But the end of this one really threw me off. I imagine that either Sean has a much larger plan in mind or he just really screwed up. I absolutely love this series, but feel that as we are getting closer to 15 installments without a clear end game in sight that things are getting a bit out of control. Before we get resolution into one matter another one is thrown into the mix. I can't really see two more hundred pages answering all the unknown things and giving us a clear HEA.
With the addition of Bryan's story and still Jonathan's final book to be released I can see this being extended out further than a few more books. At one point I was ready to never see this one come to an end, but after this one... I really want to see the drama die down and find some type of resolution for these two within a few more books.
Sean at the end of this one was just disappointing. I am sure he has his reasons and excuses, but I just did not like the direction of this one that much.

This is getting awfully tiring. As well as this series has started and as much as I dove head first into the story, now I find myself cringing when picking up the next installment. This one just seemed so unnecessary. Now it seems the story just drags on. Yes, we know Sean is f#£%ed up, yes, we know he's a badass lunatic with still some warmth underneath that he hides so well - even from himself at times. Yes, we know Avery is in deep sh%t, yes, we know she's just as much a lunatic that Sean is. Yes, we know the two of them together make some kind of weird sense. We get it. Now get on with it and finish the story (please, pretty please), because now it just getting ruined. It should have finished 3 installments ago. It is getting way too long, way too much, not to mention it is getting boring. I really don't want to remember this story as a dragged out story that turned from great to crap, but unfortunately it is heading in that direction. A much as I loved it before, now I'm dreading the next installment. I only continue with it because I really don't like unfinished stories and books. But it is becoming awfully painful, which is a shame. Sorry everyone. Sorry Holly. I loved all your other stories, I adore the Ferro brothers, but this is running out of steam fast. Please finish the story already. Please!

This is the 13th book of a series, the books are too short. At every major point in the book it finishes. When you think about you are paying well over $50 for a story that still hasnt finished. Im starting to wonder if it will or will it keep going just to make more money???

This series is a scam. NOW we are back to book 4-5. Sean's engaged to someone else? AND HE surrenders Avery to BLACK>?
Unbelievable. This is writing on a whim, H>M>WARD may write well, but enough is enough. 13 BOOKS. YEs I swore I wouldn't purchase till this series is complete, but I don't see this happening anytime soon. Drama revolves around Avery just to keep us hooked! We know she's a prostitute who only slept with Sean, but now what? And Sean lets her go? and acknowledges another fiancé in California? Enough is enough. I am done. I should of stuck to it, and ended at 10. Do you know why I banned Beth Kerry? and refuse to purchase anything in her name? Add HM WARD to this list too. SO done with wasting time, and money one this bullshit.

Life is like a box of.....
Alls well that ends well or at least one would think that, that isn't the case in the latest installment of the Arrangement, a tricky web has been weaved and it seems Avery had been caught in the snare. Sean Ferro's perspective unleashed concrete truths about him that you have only been able to guess at until this moment, his pain is real, his love for Avery is real. The passion is so hot it could melt the words off the page. And then hold on to your sedatives, you get a holy moly of a surprise. I am gonna have to say... why do you do this to me, Ward? I need the next installment ASAP! Great JOB!

*******May contain SPOILERS---do not read if you haven't read the book*****
After 13 books, here are my thoughts.....
1. Continuity issues in EVERY book. For example: Sean's wife committed suicide while pregnant as mentioned in the earlier books in this series, yet in this book, he "saw" his baby girl lying dead next to his dead wife? Another example: Avery has NEVER had sex with another man, yet Sean asks her in this book who she's having sex with in the video, and her response is "I don't know"?
2. At the end of each of these books are more questions. Why is everyone confusing that with a cliffhanger?! There is a distinct difference. Cliffhangers are suspenseful endings and eventually get answered. Where is Mel? And, if Sean stole Henry's girl (Amanda), why would Henry have brokered a business deal with Sean in one of the earlier books (Restaurant scene when Avery is on her first date with Henry). That NEVER would have happened. You can't change the rules halfway through the game.
I question the 5 star reviews that these "chapters" are getting. Maybe these readers should be looking a little closer to the quality of this writing before assigning it 5 stars. This book is being made up as we go along---the very reason for so many continuity issues. It's already too long.

Sean's past & present fight for control of him. He only completely sure of one thing & it is that he cannot lose Avery. Avery has to fight for her life again & Sean desperately does know how to save her. But he fights with all that he is because he unwilling to give her or up.

This book.......wow....this book is so not what i expected, and took me to a whole other level!!!
I received an ARC last night. Let me say, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all night. It literally haunted my dreams!!!! I'm hoping this is therapy for my mind, so here goes!
As we all know, 12 left us with a hot and steamy scene where some sort of drama was about to play out.
We pick up right at that scene from Sean's POV....can I just say....Sean's dark side is prevalent here. He is demandingly devious, sexually intoxicating, and highly terrifying!
This book is going to freak your shit out! We have crazy TWISTS, more TERROR, more TEARS, more QUESTIONS, and something I can't even fathom happens. There are people who enter this story that NEVER "crossed" my mind, BUT MAKE PERFECT SENSE.
Sean gets pulled into his past and can't seem to separate it from his present. He's trying to tell Avery something important, but gets interrupted and the words are never spoken. There's someone out to get Avery and Sean says he isn't going to let anything happen to her, but something changes in him. Something she can't understand. Quite frankly, neither does the reader! Your heart breaks, anger will boil, and you'll be left stunned and utterly speechless!
I was left with the biggest cliffhanger from ANY book I've ever read, left questioning my sanity and why I let myself get emotionally involved with a story,left questioning my own judgement! Holly's imagination is unparalleled! She rocks your mind with this installment of The Arrangement, for sure a DO NOT MISS!!!

I was rewarded with an ARC in exchange for my honest review of this book, I have to admit I just finished it and I am at a loss for words. Normally I would be so angry right now or overreact but I have learned not to jump right away with how Holly chooses to end her books so I am going to silently scream inside my head instead of on here and once again wait until book 14 comes out to quiet that screaming in my head. The book is really good, once again it involves one of the characters from her other books which I love when she does this. I don't love how this person addresses Avery though, I wish Sean would say something but I guess that is what this person wants, he is pushing his buttons. The book starts a little before where the last one left off and my mind is spinning, who in the world is doing this, then what Sean reveals, then what Avery ends up doing, and then I cry because of Avery's reaction, I swear I can feel everything she is feeling and my heart breaks for her, this must be hard, she is not used to all of this and now she has yet another thing to feel bad about in her life. Of course I love Sean wanting to take care of her, and I love the time they spend together in her dorm room, I didn't quite understand why they went there of all places but okay?? I liked how Sean acted about the delivery that came to Avery's room and then of course loved the sex scenes with this delivery. I think it is sweet them playing Monopoly, I couldn't quite picture Sean sitting on the floor playing a board game but whatever. I will say I was devastated by the last 24 pages of the book, once again just like one of the other books in this series everything I came to love about this book was shattered right in front of me along with my heart and I am saddened by the thoughts that are going around in my head of what this all means but I really hate that I will have to wait until The Arrangement 14 comes out to find out if these thoughts are valid or once again just like the last time Holly has fooled me with her great writing talent, what I thought was happening ended up being something completely different, I am hoping that is the case this time too, man this series keeps me on my toes and I love every minute of it.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.
AR13 is definitely not for the faint at heart. H.M. Ward has rendered me speechless once again but the other times don't compare or come close to today's reaction.
This volume gives us 2 full chapters in Sean's POV. We are able to understand his fears and feelings for Avery. It also gives us a glimpse to his past which I have to say that I was shocked at the revelations. My chest tightened after learning the things we learned.
The book begins where AR12 left off. The suspense was thrilling and what happened left me in total shock disbelief. I never expected that things would get so intense that the final result even occurred.
Situations surface and crossover characters appear, especially one that is a complete surprise and would've never seen it coming. I have the feeling that H.M. Ward is getting us ready for her other upcoming books by having these particular characters on AR13 (CAN'T WAIT!!!).
Cray cray moments between Sean and Avery had me laughing uncontrollably and their passionate moments are HOT, HOT, HOT!!! (when are they not HOT, right?) Dark Sean makes a comeback and he left me breathless. He is one sick, messed up Dude but still love him to death.
As for the ending, it was true to Ward's nature and the tsunami of a cliffhanger washes away all the other volumes' endings. This one left me with a huge WTF and wanting AR14 NOW.
H.M. Ward always brings it and is most definitely a Master of leaving her readers on edge. If I could give it 10 stars, I would, but I still think that 10 wouldn't even come close to being enough.

Ok, that is all I am telling you. I really do not want to spoil this for you. If you have been following this best selling series, you know we are about to find out who is after Avery.
H.M. Ward has once again proven herself to be the master of romantic/erotic suspense. For those of us totally hooked on this series, we have seen plot twists come up we never even imagined were possible. You know what? Every one of those twists has been dead on target and totally possible... we just didn't see them coming. This is why this is a most loved series by this gifted author.
These characters have become so real to me I must admit I think of them as real people. When did I loose my mind, you ask? The moment I was hooked on this love affair between Sean and Avery in the first installment. Sean Ferro is as enigmatic as he is handsome. This man has secrets still yet to be uncovered and I want to be there, first in line, when all is revealed. Avery is so naive. Hang in there girl! We are all cheering for you!

Teil 13 ist mal was Anderes als bisher. Beginnt mir derselben Szene, mit der Teil 12 geendet hat und es ist das erste Mal, dass der Cliffhanger genau das war, wofür man ihn gehalten hat.
Weniger Review, mehr Gedanken, einige Spoiler!
Sean macht sich Vorwürfe, denkt alles ist seine Schuld und wird von seiner Erinnerung gequält. Avery wird jetzt erst klar, dass jemand sie umbringen wollte und sie wirklich niemandem trauen kann, wenn sogar Seans innerer Kreis eine Gefahr darstellt.
Die Story ist dramatisch wie noch nie - und ich mag ja Drama - aber nachdem es endlich in eine Richtung ging, die man nachvollziehen kann, wird wieder alles durcheinander gewirbelt indem man wieder nicht nachvollziehen kann, was Sean da macht. Dann kommen noch mehr Personen dazu, die nur verwirren und wenig zur Story beitragen.
Das wirkt so, als würde die Autorin alles nochmal aufmischen damit man die Story noch ein paar Mal drehen und wenden kann um noch mehr dieser Geschichten verkaufen zu können.
Ich hatte Seans ganz kranke Vorliebe fast schon vergessen und was das hier sollte wird man wahrscheinlich erst verstehen wenn man noch die nächsten zehn Teile liest.
Dann wieder ein Video mit dem klar wird, dass jemand Kameras in ihrem Zimmer versteckt aber was will man damit erreichen, dass Sean rausbearbeitet wurde?
Was ist mit Gabe? Wo steht der bei der ganzen Sache? Und warum machen die sich keine Gedanken was mit Mel ist?
Wie Sean hat eine Verlobte in Kalifornien? Das ist ja offensichtlich nicht so wie es aussieht aber hä? Averys Reaktion passt zu ihrem Verhalten bisher aber, dass sie Black so in die Karten spielt, kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen.
Und dann denkt Sean plötzlich, dass es besser ist wenn Black Avery mitnimmt? Weil es besser für sie ist wenn sie nicht bei ihm ist? Sicherer? Gab es da eine Absprache vorher? Oder geht er einfach mit dem Flow?
Gerade meinte er noch sie kann niemandem trauen außer ihm...
Und hieß es nicht jemand versucht über Black an Avery ranzukommen?
Aber das er dann zulässt, dass sie in die Kiste gepackt wird, nachdem was er vorher mit ihr gemacht hat ist krank.
So viele Fragen sind noch offen und statt mal welche zu beantworten und Zusammenhänge zu schaffen, werden immer wieder neue aufgeworfen.

Ich hatte Seans ganz kranke Vorliebe fast schon vergessen und was das hier sollte wird man wahrscheinlich erst verstehen wenn man noch die nächsten zehn Teile liest.
Dann wieder ein Video mit dem klar wird, dass jemand Kameras in ihrem Zimmer versteckt aber was will man damit erreichen, dass Sean rausbearbeitet wurde?
Was ist mit Gabe? Wo steht der bei der ganzen Sache? Und warum machen die sich keine Gedanken was mit Mel ist?
Wie Sean hat eine Verlobte in Kalifornien? Das ist ja offensichtlich nicht so wie es aussieht aber hä? Averys Reaktion passt zu ihrem Verhalten bisher aber, dass sie Black so in die Karten spielt, kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen.
Und dann denkt Sean plötzlich, dass es besser ist wenn Black Avery mitnimmt? Weil es besser für sie ist wenn sie nicht bei ihm ist? Sicherer? Gab es da eine Absprache vorher? Oder geht er einfach mit dem Flow?
Gerade meinte er noch sie kann niemandem trauen außer ihm...
Und hieß es nicht jemand versucht über Black an Avery ranzukommen?
Aber das er dann zulässt, dass sie in die Kiste gepackt wird, nachdem was er vorher mit ihr gemacht hat ist krank.
So viele Fragen sind noch offen und statt mal welche zu beantworten und Zusammenhänge zu schaffen, werden immer wieder neue aufgeworfen.

This afternoon I finished reading this latest volume and afterwards I was left feeling the following
I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review SO, I can't give this a rating yet. I have to decide out of fairness to Holly how I feel about this latest edition!
It seems we get somewhere with these books and move forward only for this type of thing to happen at the end.
I'm pretty disappointed in this latest volume and I think that Holly has somewhat betrayed her fans in this latest volume. That's why I can't give this a rating yet. If I did give one right now it would be VERY low!
Now that I have had time to reconsider this and take time away from this volume I have realized that if Holly can awake these types of emotions in me this must have been an amazing volume.
Of course, I'm pissed at the ending which I'm sure a lot of you will be. It puts somewhat of a negative light on a person and makes you really kind of hate this person - SO BE FOREWARNED
What to expect in this latest volume???
As usual you're taken on a complete journey starting with actually hearing from swoon the dreamy, dark, Sean!!! Oh yes, you guessed it. You will actually get to hear his thinking. He just may open up and you just MAY LOVE HIM MORE!!!!! Your heart will race, you will cry your eyes out, you will be shocked as hell (in several different sections). You will learn some really interesting things so much so you may actually stop reading and look up what the hell is being talked about... Hint; NAH... *giggle You will be turned on, you just may feel extreme fear, you will also be in the moments - seeing and participation is to be expected!
Once again, Holly has a way of making you live in the moment, making you see what she sees. It is absolutely amazing. I guarantee you though if you're a fan - YOU WILL HATE THIS ENDING!!! So much so that you just may THROW your eReader across the bed/couch/floor. Or at least I did. You will yell - what the F*%K... You will seriously WANT Volume 14 right now to find out what the F*%K is going on... But alas you will have to wait atleast 4 weeks to find out. Son of a B*#^H why do you do this, Woman???
I hope you enjoy this latest volume as much as I did - I hope you are drawn to the same pissed off emotion that I was too! I hope you're on the edge of your seat, like I was... I hope you have such strong mixed emotions about this that it leaves you thinking about nothing else all day like it did me...

The never ending story. Ms. Ward in her own words states this series will continue on as long as the readers demand more. How can they not demand more when she ends the story in a cliff hanger. I have to give her points for finding an audience she can milk dry. Sorry Ms. Ward, as a writer I do believe you have talent but your greed overshadows that. One day the well will run dry and the money will stop rolling in. So cash in for as long as you can because when it is all said and done what could have been known as a great book/series will be known as the Great American ripoff.

Holy mother of all cliff hangers, what the hell is going on with Sean Ferro? I am at a loss for words!! Seriously, I love this guy and then HM Ward throws everything you think you know back in your face...poor Avery, this girl has suffered enough, I think it is time she got some slack, jeez! Now I am on tenterhooks waiting for 14, but I feel that this is all part of Sean's plan and there is a logical explanation for what was revealed in this instalment...at least I hope so!

I am going insane over this series and these people. I hate HATE HATE Black, she needs to GO AWAY FOR GOOD. Dirt nap=) See how volatile I am after yet another CLIFFHANGER! This book starts out with Sesn's POV for the first time ever in The Arrangement series and it was fabulous!!! I cried a little it was so wonderful!
There are crossovers included, we meet new ppl that I think will be relevant in upcoming books, but as usual HM Ward leaves us with a WTF cliffhanger and wanting and waiting for the next book! Fantastic and beautiful and HOT are only some of the words that I can say to describe this book on the series!

Every Arrangement book is a view into a world where one would think didn't exist. For Avery, her worst fears and her hopes are coming true at the same time. Arrangement 13 is a tale of horror, excitement, sex, betrayal, and questions. This story is by far the most intriguing tale in the series. The point of view from Sean is incredible. This story leaves the reader wanting more.. not like the others, but to find out the dark secrets which are hiding behind Ferro's furrowed brows. Avery has been dealt a shitty hand, how she chooses to play it, well, that is a tale for another day.....

I’m 1/2 way through The Arrangement series, not counting overlapping books, and the story seems to have reset back to book one. No, there’s nothing wrong with the mechanics of the book itself, it’s the story.
I’ve come to the conclusion that fans should never determine a series. It gets too messy and things don’t line up when the author isn’t in control of their story. This series is proof positive of that. I’m glad I wasn’t duped into paying for these books. Those people are out so much money that it’s not funny. This series screams “greedy author” like no other.

This unfortunately is getting rediculous. we have to wait way too long in between books to even remember WTH has been happening. I don't understand the reviews that say this is the best installment yet. wth!?? its unfortunately one of the worse. way too short and took forever to be released. and of course got exciting only on the very last page as usual. Enough already, finish the story or at least clear one drama before you start with the next.

I really wish I could stop reading these. I will say this, the writing is awesome and I'm into the story, but this type of serial book isn't for me though. Anything I read in the future from this author will be completed series.
