i keep running my hand over the cover touching the gold specks
i keep thinking of vicki in guanajuato, the ostrich that popped its long neck out from the side of the road, startling her, the scorpions she's paranoid to find in the bathroom, and is still paranoid to find in chicago, in the cracks of her apartment or inside bars of amber
i keep hearing pj harvey's song about horses in her dreams b/c there's a good number of horses in these poems, they are also mares-

A powerful examination of the metaphysics of vulnerability. Its language, and syntax, geometric and dense. I keep dipping in and out, it has grabbed hold of me, will not let go.

Collection of various poems from four of Mejer's books (I believe none translated into English in their entirety just yet). I was a big fan of This Blue Novel when it came out on Action in 2015. I enjoyed most of the work in each section, I would be particularly excited to see On the Third Day in its entirety because those poems, especially The Other Kiss, are amazing.
