I really enjoyed this book. 10 years ago Daeg had just enlisted in the military. He knew he would ship out soon. He spent the summer going by the local ice cream shop. that's where Dani worked. There was just something special about her. He knew he couldn't get into a relationship. He didn't do long term. When he spotted her walking along the beach looking beautiful, and alone on her prom night, he gave in and the two shared one kiss that neither Dani, or Daeg would ever forget.

Grey knows a lot about hurricanes. He's interested in them and likes to learn more about them. So we found this book at the store and couldn't resist getting it. A book that involved a hurricane? Of course we're going to try it.

Except this hurricane was unbelievable to me and I don't know anything about hurricanes. A. There has NEVER been a hurricane to hit California. B. If you know there is going to be a hurricane, I suggest YOU EVACUATE BEFORE THE DAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO HI

This was disappointing. The title drew me in, but the first 2/3'ds of the book we just heard about how much Daeg loved his job and what an amazing hero he was. Then there was the fact he had kissed a 17 year old Dani ten years ago then never contacted her again. COME ON it was A KISS, she didn't have his baby! Why was she still mad at him ten years later!? By the time it started to get okay, I just wanted it to be over.

First, can I just say, if I were the type that went for the buff manly man...I would be all over the guy on the cover. He's not my type, but Ooo La La, he's really easy on the eyes. He makes fantasizing about all the sexy bits of this book so much easier. (Its book covers like this that make me hate ebooks)

I love the premise. Hot man and the heroine get caught in a storm. I usually prefer snow storms, cos I'm a winter romantic, but tropical storms will do nicely too, especially when Daeg (I love

Wicked Sexy was a great read to relax and enjoy the weather with. It wasn’t full of drama and multiple problems like some stories; it was just the right amount of everything to make it a great summer read. You have your sexy, navy swimmer Daeg who is our semi tortured love interest. After an injury left him with a months’ worth of R&R, he comes to Discovery Island with some of his brothers to help with their Deep Dive shop. Little does

So I thought that this book would be one way and it was really another! Which I liked!!! I try to read a little bit of everything although I read a lot of romance novels. I thought this would be an insta-lust situation but I was happy to see that I was wrong. I really liked that the author took time to build a relationship between the hero and the heroine. It made it more gratifying when they finally came together!

Daeg Ross was a great hero

Dani is an actuary and spends her life calculating risks and assessing benefits of each situation. Running into Daeg Ross, a special ops aviation rescue swimmer was definately a part of her summer plan.

This is a quick beach read but I liked it nonetheless. Dani was supposed to be on her honeymoon at Discovery Island just off the California coast but the wedding didn't happen so she was licking her wounds and taking care of her grandparents' motel. The last person she expected to see was Daeg Ross whom she had a crush on when she was 17! Now he was here too on furlough from the Navy while he recovers from an injury and he was helping out some of his former SEALs in their new rescue venture. Det ...more
Review: I was given a complimentary copy of Wicked Sexy by Love Romance books blog for in exchange for an honest review.

Wicked Sexy was a very enjoyable book. It starts out a bit slow but picks up and is a very good book. Danielle is supposed to be on her honeymoon but that’s not what she’s doing. She is back at Discovery Island trying to get over her ex when she runs into Daeg. Daeg is hot. He is used to saving people. Dani is a whole new risk to Daeg. They are like oil and water but they are
Navy rescue swimmer Daeg Ross and actuary Dani Andrews knew each other years ago; they shared a kiss and then Daeg left for the Navy. Even though it was just a kiss Dani knew there was something between them and was devastated when Daeg up and left without a word. Dani went on to have a successful career as an actuary.

Now Dani is back on Discovery Island and so is Daeg. Dani is reeling from her breakup practically on the eve of her wedding. Daeg would like to start things up again with Dani but
I quite like the storyline for this and the events on the island really set the scene for the romance, but I found the constant peppering of military terms and scenes throughout (to remind me this is about a NAVY guy, I guess) quite obstructive and annoying.

In addition, Daeg (the male lead is called 'Dag' hahaha...) spends about 98% of every scene frowning silently and refusing to communicate. Stoic and silent I can get, but this guy is such an immobile rock running roughshod over her protests

When she was seventeen years old, Dani Andrews was kissed by Daeg Ross on a lonely stretch of beach and then he ran back to the Navy, breaking her heart. Now, ten years later, he's on medical leave and she's back on the island helping her grandparents at their motel. Will all those old sparks reignite when these two kiss for the second time in 10 years? Will it be a Summer fling cause she lives on the mainland and he's got the Navy to return to? Read the amazingly sexy book to find out!

Wicked Sexy is the first book of Anne Marsh's that I have read, but I was drawn in from the blurb. I was excited to read this second chance lovers story, especially when it has sexy hero in uniform. I have to say that this wasn't what I was really expecting though. I thought that it was an okay book, but it wasn't quite as sexy as the name and cover implied.

Dani Andrews should be on her honeymoon, but after catching her fiance cheating on her
This was okay, and just okay. Neither character seemed particularly likable, and while they both accepted the limitations of the other, they just suddenly changed their mind. No warning, no lead up, all of sudden, boom, I thought I missed a chapter or paragraph, or even a sentence, but no. This wasn't insta-love, it was eh, I changed my mind, maybe, probably, okay yeah, let's be a couple

I didn't get romance, I didn't heat, and I definitely didn't get wicked sexy, and darn it, I wanted it!
Daeg can save me from an island during a level 3 storm anytime. As he attempts a second chance with Dani we get to fall for this sexy soldier. Dani is an analyst, always analyzing risks even in relationships. They are pure opposites. I just wish I knew how to pronounce his name, and why it was chosen.
Liked this a lot more than I thought I would! Anne Marsh's writing is such a breath of fresh air here and the storm surge scenes really lifted this story above the usual category romances in the Blaze series.

I thought this book was a very slow read.I almost didn't finish it but I did finish it.I thought Daeg Ross was sexy but the book was a little on the boring side.

After ten years of graduate school and too many degrees, Anne Marsh escaped to become a technical writer. When not planted firmly in front of the laptop translating Engineer into English, Anne enjoys gardening, running (even if it’s just to the 7-11 for slurpees), and reading books curled up with her kids. The best part of writing romance, however, is finally being able to answer the question: “So ...more
