“I would give up my life for her, brother.”

Leo Tucker is tall, dark and dangerous all the things Avery Delany doesn't need in her simple life. When he pushes his way into her life and turns it upside down, she has no choice but to go with him on the wild ride. He pulls her out of her comfort zone testing her ability to be patient. The more time she spends with him, the more she sees that under the bad ass biker facade is a kind and caring person, she could fall in love with. It all depends on his ability to keep her safe from the skeletons, resurfacing from his past, hell bent on using her to get to him.

Update to my review: I received an updated Kindle version of this book today. I have not yet reviewed the edited version but I would like to give a thumbs up to the author for the edit....

I am reluctantly rating this book 3 stars. This is my first book by this author. The story had such great potential with a good story line and characters that were likeable. I have read just about every MC/biker book released in the last year and without a doubt this book has some of the worst editing compared to all the other books I have read. Lately it is not uncommon to read self-published books that have editing errors and words out of context. This book took it to a new level with whole sentences that at time made you laugh. “"Piper?" My patients were wearing thin, but I needed to get a hold on my temper.” “He leans up against the head board lacing his fingers behind his head, starching his long legs out.” Almost every page has at least one and most times multiple editing issues. I am trying to provide constructive criticism here because the editing was so distracting, it took away from the story. As a reader that purchases quite a few books, I also think that an author should consider the quality of a book that they charge for.
The story line and characters did not follow the formula that a lot of the MC romance books recently released and that was refreshing. The guys were hot and all alpha personalities. Avery (the h), at times was very independent but swayed to needy and insecure. The actual plot could use some refinement to make it more serious to fit the scenes. I think this author has great potential but strongly urge that more emphasis be placed on the quality of next book and reaching the full potential of what she has shown in this first effort.

A história é boa e os personagens interessantes. A heroína perdoou muito fácil todas más atitudes do herói. Ela deveria ter sido mais dura com ele.
E quando ele trai ela com uma stripper ela simplesmente perdoa porque ele estava bêbado...
A série promete!

-------------

The story is good and the characters interesting. The heroine forgave very easy all bad attitudes of the hero. She should have been more harsh with him.
And when he cheats on her with a stripper she simply forgive because he was drunk.
The series promises!

"The music from Apocalypse Now began to play in my head as my libido danced around in my body. I fought my legs to keep them from spreading and the urge to grab him, mauling him right there in front of Piper, hot Dalton and the world."

“He insists I come to a party at his club that I did not want to come to in the first place. Then, he informs me that I could be drugged and raped, and then he leaves me with a babysitter so that he can “go to work.”

“You’re reading way too much into this, Avery. I just want to have a good time with you.”

“Mouth, Avery.” He chastises me for cursing. What an asshole. “A woman should act like a lady in public. Meaning, I don’t like you cussing.”"

“Now, explain mansome.” “Well, you’re all man and then some. Mansome.”

"The door to our private suite swings open and two very tall, very naked blonde women walk in. “We heard you boys were all alone up here.” I lean back as one of them slides up my legs and bottoms out against my hips rubbing her overly large boobs in my laid back willing face. I let her take me places and then the liquor brings me back for more."

"Leo takes me by the arm and flings me at Beeker. I stumble a few times and Beeker’s there to catch me. “Go the fuck on you two. Get the hell out of here and away from me, now.” He turns back and starts to chug what whiskey was left in the bottle. Beeker leans into me, “Hurry"

"I remember taking shots with Cowboy at the strip club and completely neglected the reasons I was there. The blonde came in…oh God the blonde. She slid down on my lap and I let myself sit back and enjoy the show. I remember walking out the door of the club with Roman, but nothing after that."

"I drank way too much and did a bunch of stupid shit I shouldn’t have done.”"

"I take two steps back from the both of them and try to process what she just said, going over the words again in my head. They had a good time the other night?"

"That’s when I know it and feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut by none other than the person I call my best friend. “Did you know about this Piper?”"

"“The night I came home and kicked you out,” He pauses, looking up for the first time to gauge my reaction. “I was with her.”"

"Joy is outside kicking over the fuckin’ bikes.”"
"“She trashed your bike, Leo.”"

""It’s something that would obviously bother me if we’re having unprotected sex.""

Contains too many grammatical errors to the point of distraction.
IMHO, the $4.99 I dished out should've warranted me a better edited book.

This book was a good quick read. The storyline flowed nicely and it had a good pace. At first, I thought that the hero came off a little to domineering, but we later find out that he has a really good reason for his actions. I really liked the love story between Leo and Avery. Though it did take place over a short period of time, there was enough interaction between the hero and heroine to keep it from feeling rushed. There was enough push and pull between the two characters to keep you routing for them and wanting more. There was also a fair amount of action and suspense throughout the book, which as a reader I personally loved watching Leo protect the woman he loves. This book has lots of secondary characters that are all really developed, and I loved getting to read about Beeker, Piper, and Dalton.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading about bikers and enjoys a sexy alpha male hero. I hope to read more from Author Brook Greene in the future.

This is one of the best MC books I have read to date and am still a little baffled at the poor reviews, I guess even being a grammar nazi that with a story like this I still couldn't have given it a harsh/poor review. There are a few things I would like to have seen fleshed out in the book a little more but nothing that took away from the story. I think I really liked that it wasn't quite like all the other MC books that are out there, the main story was completely different. I did want to kick Leo in the nuts a few times but at least it was fleshed out that he wasn't quite as bad as it seemed with some of the skank issues. I would have also loved to see the epilogue go into more about recent events instead of just 8 years in the future to get better a feel for the next book. I can't wait to read more about these characters and the MC or whatever they are up to next, so write fast Brook!

3 Stars. This story had a great plot and characters. Leo "the hero" is a sexy, 6'5 alpha that's the president of The Knight Of Mayhem Mc. I enjoyed his character for the most part. Avery "the heroine" was likable but as usual as most authors write their heroine's, I found her to be annoying most of time. The secondary characters were interesting and I'd be interested in reading more about them if this authors writing improves.

I didn't really care for the way this story was written. It was written first POV with both MC's perspective, which I normally like by the way, but it didn't flow well to me. After reading conflicting reviews, one being that since the original release it was released again and edited properly, I'm not sure if the one I purchased yesterday on Amazon was that one because it could've used editing.

There are some steamy sex scenes and action. All in all it was an ok read for me.

OMG! Yes I loved, loved, loved All In. The love story is rocky and turbulent, but so worth the ride. The action/suspense part of the story give this MC book a bit of a twist that other MC books don't have. I absolutely love the entire crew set the Knights of Mayhem compound. Avery is strong willed and independent and those are two traits I love in a main character. Leo is bossy, cocky and all alpha male hotness. The two together are combustive! Such a great beginning to a great series. I can not wait to get Dalton, Roman and Cowboys stories. Seriously one of the best MC books I have read.

3.5 stars. You know this wasn't half bad. I saw a lot of reviews talking about how bad the editing was, and I didn't have that problem. Maybe a few misses, but that's about it. Maybe I read the revised edition? Anyways, I wanted to rate this higher, but couldn't because of the h Avery. She almost completely ruined the book for me. She was a 32 yr old woman going on 16. She screamed, pouted, stomped her feet, stuck out her tongue, trashed other people's property when thing's weren't given to here. I could understand her frustration with everyone. But to act the way she did was such a turn off. I liked the H Leo a lot more. He was an alpha ass. The usual type I like to read about. Of course he could have done a lot of thing's differently that would have had better outcomes, but he was under a lot of pressure and stress with his job. Add Avery's insistent nagging and I'd understand if the man drank himself to death. As far as the relationship went Leo didn't make any huge promises to Avery, but his actions said the complete opposite. He was in deep. But then would go hot and cold and try to purposely push her away because of his job. This is a MC book with a twist. They're actually all undercover DEA agents. The MC is just their front. Once released from the DEA after their last op they opened a Security company. As far as the plot went it was entertaining, but I wish the author had gone into more detail about some things. Everyone telling Avery to give Leo a break because he's had a hard life. But what hard life? The author never went into it. Avery's past with her father. Who turned out to be Leo's supervisor in the DEA. What even happened to her mother? Author never said. We know Leo was in a prior relationship for three years before the woman was killed, but author never gave details. From Leo's POV he loves Avery more than he did Serena. His quote about Avery. "I thought I knew what love was." After ow's death he becomes a manwhore. The usual. Overall I enjoyed it for what it was. Unfortunately this author isn't writing anymore because with this as her debut she had potential. Darn.

Safety: SA of the h Avery. Mentions of torture and presumed rape of the ow. The H Leo get's drunk at his strip club and get's lap dances from a stripper named Joy. Who turns up later naked in his bed at the clubhouse. Avery kicks her ass.

I'm looking forward to reading the side character's stories. They sound intriguing for sure. The last gripe I have is about the h Avery. She was so stubborn that she became TDTL. She fought and caused trouble during times she shouldn't, and gave up too easily on certain situations when she should have gave hell and pushed back.

First off I can't believe the bad reviews that I have been seeing. Maybe there from the first publishing and the one I have is the republican, because this was an amazing book. I can say with all truth that I simple could not put it down and read it from beginning to end in a little over four hours. Ok about the book well let's start with Avery, she was a strong female character who says what's on her mind; she's sassy and brave. Now Leo well he was one of the Hottest male characters that I've read about in a while. I love the alpha in him, the take charge and hold nothing back. There were a couple of times that I wanted Avery to just junk punch him, but I will let you find out why that is. I really I'm looking forward to this series and much more from Brook. And again I highly recommend this book because if there were eras they have been fixed. If you don't believe I will even loan my copy for you to see for yourself, but believe me this is the start of a new series and you're going to want your own. GREAT JOB BROOK!!!!! Looking forward to the next one!

I got a revised and edited copy and I loved it! I'm not one to leave spoilers in reviews but I can say that it doesn't have a cliffhanger. Leo is all alpha male, so much so that sometimes I wanted to hit him then hug him! He sees Avery and from that moment wants her, she doesn't want to take his crap but he doesn't care. Leo has good intentions but poor execution, which hurts Avery. In this book not all is what seems to be and that's what kept me hooked. MC lifestyle wasn't a big part of the book, more so the situations behind the club and it's members, which by the way are totally hot. I really enjoyed this book and hope to see everyone again There is so much potential for a series, I know I'm being greedy because the book included a great epilogue! I recommend this book to everyone not only MC lovers:)

Avery Delany is perfectly content living a life as a single woman spending her nights watching television and relaxing. However her friend wants her to hang out with her and she reluctantly goes. Meeting Leo Tucker, Avery doesn't deny she is attracted but she doesn't want a hookup or relationship. Leo has other ideas though and a few secrets as well. Leo is the MC of the Knights of Mayhem, but it is a persona and he isn't sure if he can keep Avery safe if she takes a chance on him..

This was quite a bit different for a biker story. Leo is pure alpha and when Avery dismisses him, he goes about getting her attention in a unique way. I look forward to reading more from Brook Greene.

I really wanted to like this book and had expected to give it a higher rating. Unfortunately, the further I progressed the more deplorable the writing (disjointed, awkward and in terrible need of either editing or at least a dictionary)!!!!
What I liked: the storyline seemed decent and kept my interest, the H and h were ok ( a little more development wouldn't have gone wrong).
I believe this could have been a pretty good novel, with a little work. As it was, I think 2 stars is fairly generous.

WOW WOW WOW......I loved this book. Brook's first installment of Knights of Mayhem. It started out hilarious, fun, sexy hot, but turned into a more in-depth story. I was surprised, without going into the specifics. All I'm gonna say, it was a wonderful story, I loved every minute of it. As for the characters, Avery is a firecracker. Absolutely loved her. Leo, Leo, Leo, oh my..from his biker bad ass alpha male caveman antics to his lip piercing and tattoos, he is one scrumptious man. YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! I can't wait to read more about the Knights, especially Piper and Dalton's story.

Oh boy so good

This is such a good book. So glad I read it!!!!! I love an alpha male lead all the way and Leo had no shortages of that. Avery was a very strong female lead. I loved her no take attitude. She knew what she wanted and how to be treated and went with it. Leo was just great. There were parts that left you wondering until about half way threw then the ah ha moment where you figure out the deal it was great. I love having both poverty even though leos was always shorter and of course no cliffhanger!!!!

I just finished the book and I had to leave a review because I LOVED it! I had this book on my TBR list for sooooo long and now I'm left wondering, why the hell did I wait so long to get to it?

I loved the story. The plot is fast, the book is well written, the characters very well developed and in general, it rocked my world. Definitely my kind of book!

I thought I was in for a usual MC read, but soon I realised that there was more behind the MC.

Leo and his crew are the s***!!!

Awesome read! I'd recommend this book to everyone!

Leo is all alpha, holy alpha hotness. Leo wants Avery and along the way he messes up due to things he can't tell Avery and then there's his boss who is Avery's dad. Leo let's Avery go then gets her back and at time I think Avery forgave him to easily but it made great drama. Looking for more to come from this gang .

I'm so impressed with this MC book. It's got a little bit of everything without the cheesiness that some MC reads tend to have. The best part is that it's based around people in their thirties and seemed more relatable. Don't even get me started on Avery, the heroine! I adored her stubborn sassiness!

I really enjoyed this story. It had a bit of mystery, sexy scenes, romance, overly possessive male, hot tattooed bikers, and the women they love. Leo and Avery meet and they have this instant connection. However, Leo is completely possessive and expects to be handed everything he wants. He is incredibly high handed but Avery kind of likes it. They fight a lot but they make up too. The brothers of the MC are up to something but they are keeping it secret from Avery because she is the boss's daughter. So we, as the readers, are also in the dark. This was what kept my attention, I kept reading as fast as I could to try and figure it out. When I had to put the book down I would sit there guessing what it could be.
I definitely want to keep reading this series. I love all he men and want to hear about their stories. You'll want to slap both Leo and Avery at times but it'll be worth reading!!

Meet the hottest couple around: Avery & Leo

Brook Greene is a new author for me and I'm delighted to say that "All In" was a shocking surprise - good surprise actually, very good surprise! Definitely not a regular MC but every bit as good, even better And there are 5 more books to follow, with the next one sitting in my Tablet, ready to continue my journey with these people.

First time reading this author. I love MC books and I happened on this one and was pleasantly surprised. Very quick, exciting and sexy read. I’m reading “In Ruins”book 2 right now and enjoying what I’m reading so far. Great main characters, but also love all the supporting characters, the guys are fantastic. Will definitely be reading this whole series.

This is the start of the Knights of Mayhem series, book 1 of 4. The story is about Leo and Avery. Leo knew instantly that he wanted her the moment he saw her and vowed to protect her from everything, even himself. Avery was drawn to him even though she knew him to be a womanizer. Leo is the president of the knights of mayhem. I enjoyed the book. There were a small amount of spelling/editing issues but they were easily overlooked.
