In Cowboy's Second Chance we are back to Trinity Falls to tell Josh and Honey's story. They were high school sweetheart, but when Josh decided to follow his dreams moving to California he broke Honey's heart. Now he is back and he wants to win her back because his feelings for Honey didn't change.
Honey is a reporter, she preferred to stay in her hometown to show the beauty and the kindness of her fellow citizens rather than follow the news around the country. Josh is a retired stuntman who came back to build up a new business and to give his daughter the chance to grow outside of Hollywood studios.
I adored Honey and Josh journey. They took opposite decisions that drove them apart, but now that they are in the same town again they can't deny that they still feel the butterflies in their belly when they are next to each other. Honey tried to despise Josh, but with his beauty and his heart of gold he slowly reconquered her.
My favourite character is Honey, she is a very positive character, kind and altruist, I'd like to have her as friend.
Clara Pines writing is like a comfort blanket for me, I effortlessly read all her sweet romances in one sitting.
I recommend to read this novel, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

loved it. Ginger and Millie made it for me, with Scout. Always a soft spot for great animals and sensitive people who care for them properly. The romance and relationship of Josh and Honey were secondary to me. Having said that, the whole story was really well done and ended up really well for everyone concerned. A definite thumbs up from me. Enjoyed every page-turning minute of it.

We step back into Trinity Falls, PA for another book in this wonderful series written by Clara Pines. This book is a clean, every day, normal people romance that allows you to escape for a while into a magical world. While it is part of a series you do not have to read them all or in order which is an added bonus.

A Christmas filled with hope for two people who had been together since kindergarten but as choices we make changes our lives so did theirs. Josh left to pursue a career as a stuntman in LA. What he found was a little girl named Scout who lassoed his heart and he made choices that didn’t include his love. He chose Scout, to give her safety, security and love as well as family. Fast forward to being injured on the job and it’s a move back to Trinity Falls where he discovers Honey is single and he realizes he might have a second chance at love. Honey is working as a news reporter and enjoys her job, her town and her friends. But is she ready for a second chance at love. She was hurt and humiliated by how things ended with Josh but seeing him and Scout she has doubts. She turns the table on him and humiliates him on air. Then she agrees to a single date. When Josh finally reveals the reasons how things ended and how he couldn’t turn away from Scout the tears fell. So enjoyed this story of second chances and can’t wait for more. 5+ stars.

Another wonderful romance set in Trinity Falls, PA. It is a wonderful storyline full of heartache, romance, smiles, tears and heartfelt family values. I fell in love with Honey and Josh’s story. Sweethearts since kindergarten, but as often happens life gets in the way. Josh became a Hollywood stuntman and Honey a news reporter for the local TV station. Life had a way of separating them but were they ever truly out of the other’s hearts? Would they change things if they could go back in time? Now that Josh is back in Trinity Falls will life give them a second chance or will scorned hearts prevail?
Throw in an aging horse, a rambunctious adopted puppy, well meaning family and friends and one precocious 8 year old and this book will worm its way into your heart. At least it did mine.
Excellent read - grab it up and all the sweet romances set in Trinity Falls asap - you’ll be so glad you did!

A community that’s more like a family
Welcome to Trinity Falls where sometimes the supporting characters almost steal the show. Hint: You might love Scout even more than the main characters!
Honey and Josh have a history rich with love, friendship and family. I loved how protective the entire community is of Honey after Josh broke her heart years ago.
I loved how Josh had to earn her trust and how he gave her a chance to pay him back for all the hurt he never meant to cause her.
This book made me laugh and brought me to tears at the way Josh owned his mistakes and freely admitted that he loved her and always had.
Spoiler alert: the first proposal is epic but even it can’t hold a candle to the second one!!

What a charming story, and Clara Pines is outstanding as usual. One of my favorite things about the characters is how the entire community gets together to support and celebrate whether someone is happy or in pain. A romantic fiction character with a child is my favorite form of literature. I love it when the person you are interested in also develops feelings for the child. You always feel like you're a part of the story when you read anything Clara writes. I love the fact that Clara adds things from previous books, like the deer that crashed through the window of the jewelry store and other things as well. I also liked reading about when Honey and Josh first met on the bus and how she came to his rescue. I find it hard to wait for her new books to be released. I think you will not be sorry if you read this book or any other written by Clara Pines.

What a wonderful second chance romance! I loved Josh and Honey’s story! They have always loved each other and when Josh comes back to Trinity Falls with his daughter Scout, Honey does everything she can to resist him. He broke her heart in the past and she didn’t want to do it again. Once Josh explains his side she understands what happened. They slowly get to know each other and build their new relationship. Cowboy’s Second Chance is a sweet second chance romance that’s full of love, family and amazing characters! I loved it! I look forward to the Clara’s next book!

I love spending time in Trinity Falls. All the books are feel good and the characters and are warm and inviting and it feels like spending time with great friends. I enjoyed reading Honey and Josh’s story about second chance love and I am reveling in this series by Clara Pines. This as truly a wonderful addition to this enchanting series.

Wow what a story!
This was e of the best stories in this series so far. I really enjoyed every part of it and I was always surprised what I was read next. The author made it so interesting that I was wanted to keep reading more and more. The author had me laughing along with the characters and read in my eyes several times. She made the ending perfect. Everyone needs to read this book.

I love being a Pine Nut
Loved all the characters in this novel From Honey to Josh especially Scout and 2 more favorites although I really enjoyed everyone but Millie and Ginger we're a real joy. Lest nots forget Fred. If you like stories gull of kindness sympathy a little protectiveness on both of the main characters you won't be disappointed.

I simply adored this book. Heartfelt, sweet, swoony and powerfully emotional, Josh and Honey's second chance romance made my heart melt as I fell head over heels over them. Another absolutely superb entry in a series that never disappoints.

I love my visits to Trinity Falls, these stories always leave me with a smile on my face, they are romantic, sweet, and with characters whose stories you cannot help but become invested in.
Cowboy’s Second Chance was a great addition to the latest series from Clara Pines. I enjoyed Honey Peterson and Josh Webb’s second chance at love story.
Their storyline was a tad quirky and the addition of a dancing horse was entertaining and made me smile. .

Honey Peterson works for Channel Twelve in small town of Trinity Falls and she loves her job. She enjoys doing human-interest and local news. She’s good at it. Even after she got her heart broken and humiliated by her high school sweetheart, she stayed there. Since he left for Hollywood after high school, Josh Webb has become a stuntman and training horses. He is very successful. Now he headed home with his adopted daughter, Scout to start his own business after he was injured. Will he be successful? He’s healed but it was time to give Scout a secure home with his family there for them. He’s glad to be home and hopefully Scout will adjust to all the changes. Josh runs into his ex Honey, his one and only true love. Honey was shocked to see him and his daughter. Will she ignore him? Can she or will she let the hurt of the past go? They tip toe around each other until a horse is in need of help. Honey knew Josh was the only one to help. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that they still love one another. Will Honey tell him her secret? Will Josh tell his story about Scout? It’s hard for them to trust especially since there was hurt involved. Josh has to think of his daughter and business first. Can he have a life with Honey? Will they both walk away? The characters are wonderful. They need to forgive and let go of the past for them to move toward their futures. Will they? Will Scout accept Honey? I was rooting for the horse, the couple and Scout. Clara Pines makes you feel like you’re right there with them. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. When Josh left town to pursue his dreams his relationship with Honey became collateral damage. Years later he has returned to his hometown only he didn’t return alone. His daughter Scout has made all the pain of past worthwhile however that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want a future with his first love.
Honey understood when Josh left town, but it was his actions afterwards that hurt so much. She has created a new life for herself that she enjoys even if it wasn’t the life that they had planned. Seeing him again brings up all the dormant feelings but will this be their second chance or is their past the one obstacle they can’t overcome?
This is a heart wrenching story about making the best choices you can with the curveballs that life throws at you. Time nor distance has changed the love between Josh and Honey, and it is finally their time.

I have an issue with Josh. I'm sorry, but I wish Honey had chosen someone else, anyone else, for her happily ever after. I understand his reasoning, but her heartbreak was too profound to be forgiven so quickly. I'm glad he brought her some satisfaction, but for me, it wasn't sufficient.
However, it wasn't all negative. His explanation for the events of a decade ago somewhat loosened the heartache. His daughter was an adorable little girl, and it's impossible not to adore her. For her sake, I'm glad they ended up together at the end.
Overall, it wasn't a terrible read. I wish she had made him work a little harder, but in the end, she deserved happiness, and he was her choice at that.

Another wonderful visit to Trinity Falls and this time it’s Josh Webb and Honey Peterson’s second chance at love. If you love small town, second chance, single parents stories look no further than this great read in fact if you haven’t visited Trinity Falls you need to check out this series.
Honey and Josh’s story ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned and I loved the dancing horses. I knew this was a special read from the first page but it was only when I was left with a big smile on my face did I realise just how special Cowboy’s Second Chance (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance -Icicle Christmas #4) was. It’s sweet, it’s romantic and it’s full of love, wonderful characters and it’s just a tad quirky with the dancing horses, it’s a wonderful addition to one of my favourite series.

Another winner from Trinity Falls. I could not put this book down. It's so good. A great second chance romance. Josh and Honey haven't seen each other in a decade now Josh is a single dad back for good. His daughter Scout is precious. She has an old soul especially what she has been through in her short life. I really like the family the stuntmen have created. How they are looking at the new chapter in their lives. Josh has a lot of groveling and truth telling to make if he wants another shot with his first and only love Honey. Trinity Falls is magical at Christmas time so will it weave it's magic for Josh and Honey? There are moments that pull on the heartstrings and have the tears forming. This is a beautiful heartfelt story that I recommend!
