Saying goodbye to dear characters is never easy, but when they’ve been through hell and back in the time you’ve spent with them, it’s even harder to let them go. My time with Nadia, Nate, Bishop, Agnes and Dante was exciting and wonderful, and I'll gladly join them again if Jenna Black ever decides to revisit them.

Revolution is even darker than the previous two books, as our three young Executives and their two companions are forced to hide, first in the Basement, and then in Debasement, a dread

I was so excited to get to the final book in the Replica Trilogy. I thought it was a great wrap up to the series. Revolution picks up right where Resistance ends with the group hiding from the government.

Nathan is the son of the chairman or government leader. He was murdered and brought back to life in book one. He is a cloned body with most of his memories in tact. He has never been a very good heir to his father. He shows no interest in doing anythin

I received this ARC by bidding on the author's basket in the Brenda Novak Auction earlier this year, I was in no way compensated for this review.

Jenna Black's Revolution wraps up the Replica trilogy and I am still decompressing what just happened! It was so intense and omg, the feels I had at the end are still haunting me! I was not expecting this kind of ending from the series and I must say, bravo Jenna!

We pick up pretty much where we left off in Resistance, Dorothy and Thea have killed Nate'

A more-than satisfying conclusion to this thrilling trilogy -- Revolution was an exhilarating read filled with fully-fledged characters, action-packed scenes, and so many twists and turns that kept me flipping the pages.
I didn't like this one very much. I just needed to know how this series ended and I'm still not sure. I dislike open ended endings. ...more

Dear Miss Black, please give Dante more scene.

Replica started out so well. An intriguing plot. A betrothed couple who are friends with secrets. A young woman wanting to be more. A young man wanting to be out of the closet. A seedy underworld under a veneer of capitalism. A definite dystopian world I could believe in with an AI villain that was totally believable.

Resistance continued with a storyline that was less entrancing - too much romance, not enough story. I loved seeing our character's flaws get them into trouble - impetuousness on Na

In the final book Nadia and friends are trapped in The Basement and need to find a way to get their message out.

What I enjoyed:
* Good to have a conclusion
* Nice to see Agnes get some character growth
* The world was interesting and a bit too scarily accurate as to what could be the future, where corporations own the territories, not governments.

What could have been better:
* More of an ending (view spoiler)

I actually found this to be the best book in the series. And, not to sell it out, the whole collection would make a fantastic 3-season Netflix series. I finally liked all the players and cared about what happened to them. And I love me a powerful female character. Agnes and Nadia do it for me. I also love bows at the end books: tie it up all pretty . But, this is a necessarily messy bow. I'm so glad she decided not to make it perfect. ...more

Although not exactly the happily-ever-after ending I was expecting, this was a satisfying resolution to the series.

I enjoyed the pacing and action of this book much more compared to the first two. However, the ending felt a bit lacking (not sure that's meant for another book or something). ...more

I found it a little slow moving and boring for the first half when they are in hiding in gang territory. It was ok to have them go there but then they sat around feeling helpless and not doing anything for about 100 pages. And in all that time Agnes was the only character who really did anything or had any smart thoughts. And while I really liked Agnes, my favorite character in the previous books was Nadia and how she changed and grew and was the smart one. I felt like that was missing for the f ...more

On the run from Dorothy and Paxco's security forces after being accused of murdering Chairman Hayes, Naadie, Nate and their small group of friends have gone into hiding in the Basement, forced to trust their survival to a notoriously brutal gang leader. But they can't hide forever, and with conditions in the basement worsening day by day and violence erupting at every corner, they stake their lives on a desperate gamble to get the truth about Dorothy and Thea out and take them down, whatever the ...more

Nadia Lake and Nate Hayes find themselves at the center of a horrifying conspiracy in this action-packed finale of Jenna Black’s SF romance series that began with Replica
From the author of the Faeriewalker series comes the stunning conclusion to the young adult science fiction thriller series that began with Replica and continued in Resistance.

I gave 2 stars, the author had 3 books to figure out her plot and a reasonable ending, and failed miserably. There is no ending, its like the book stopped when something finally started happening. I dont need happy endings, but there needs to be some closure to the plot, and the characters. I also find it massively hard to believe that basement dwellers, who live in complete squallor, decided not to explore a subway tunnel that goes into employer zone because of the smell of bat guano. I really liked this. Even though not a lot actually happened for much of the book, the characters were just compelling enough that reading them simply existing was pretty awesome.

I want to know more about the future. Like, did Nadia ever get a happy ending? WE DON'T KNOW!

Again, the cover does not reflect the story at all. MOST GENERIC SCI-FI COVER EVER.

Definitely the conclusion this series really needed. Nate's eyes are opened after seeing "his sister" Dorothy convince the world he's a criminal. He's accused of murder, kidnapping and inciting a revolution. As battles wage in the Basement, Nate and Nadia have to decide whether to stay in hiding or take the only chance they have to stop Dorothy and save millions of lives. ...more

I usually dislike open endings and this was the same. The whole book was sort of frustrating and nothing was really resolved at the end. I wanted to strangle the characters sometimes because I felt like no one ever made a concrete decision or they just changed their minds too often. I would have liked a better ending but the series overall was unique and really good.

This is the final book in the Replica series. It was non-stop action from start to finish. Surprising endings for many of the characters. Strong characters. Loved it!
I hated to see the series end.

This book sports a bittersweet ending where nothing has changed, yet everything is different. Still, there is some hope for change and that is good enough an ending to me.

Jenna Black is your typical writer. Which means she's an "experience junkie." She got her BA in physical anthropology and French from Duke University.

Once upon a time, she dreamed she would be the next Jane Goodall, camping in the bush making fabulous discoveries about primate behavior. Then, during her senior year at Duke, she did some actual research in the field and made this shocking discovery
