Consistent with CRC policy, this 26th Edition of the CRC Standard Mathematical Tables follows the tradition of its predecessors. The reorganization of the 25th Edition, with its new multiscetional format, is found in this 26th Edition. The customary material contained in earlier editions, plus the new expository and tabular material included in the 25th Edition, is repeated. However, several desirable additions--expanded sections on Algebra of Sets, Vector Analysis, finite Difference Interpolation formulae, Normal Probability Function; new material jon Comp-lex Variables, Coefficients for Orthogonal Polynomials--are to be noted throughout this new edition. This additional material should prove to be beneficial to applied mathematicians and statisticians.
