Revenge is a fire that burns everything down.

Tristan Blum may be the last Uruwashi, but neither he nor his ambiguous vampire companion, Ash, knows exactly what that means. One thing is clear though, that he’s responsible for keeping the living safe from the dead. As a sequel, this book works really well, jumping in shortly after the events of the first book. There was a lot of quick backup explanation, almost distracting from the “current” events at first, but it had been a while since I’d read the first book and I found it mostly helpful. All you really need to remember is who Ash and Tristan are, and the rest falls into place and makes sense as new mysteries and events unfold.
In the first book, I really enjoyed the Japanese setting, and quickly in thi

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

This book picks up shortly after where the first one left off. This one is also filled with the same intensity, but it focuses a little more on Tristan and Ash as a couple.

“If he couldn’t touch her, get just a little closer to her, he was going to lose his mind.”

Tristan once thought he was human like everyone else, but that all changed. He now knew that he was an Uruwashi…the last one

The cover of the book is gorgeous and the blurb makes you want to jump right into the story. The story picks up a little while after 'A Beautiful Death'. Tristan and Ash are staying together, but not together. Ash keeps Tristan at arms length for her own reasons. Tristan is so doubtful of her feelings due to this. Their relationship isn't really at the forefront of this story. It is s

SOMETIMES known as Stinna (pronounced Steena), Christina Moore just so happens to be her real name. Her writing career started under a pseudonym in the romance genre. But her true love has always been the paranormal. Vampires, werewolves, demons, faerie and everything in between, she loves them all—the allure of the unknown. The birth of the Uruwashi series started many years ago with a daydream ...more
