All of the Smithsonian Backyard books are fantastic. We have purchased many of them for our home library. This one shares some impressive facts about Badgers by following a day in the life of a soon to be mother badger as she searches for food and attempts to stay safe. The illustrations are beautiful with a nice use of color and realistic details.
