A serial killer has the police on edge. The Count's victims are identified by the tags he left draped around their necks bearing a single designation: a number. Each removed organ was carefully wrapped in plastic, labeled, and the piece-meal corpse was left to be purposefully found. Previously, victims One and Two were located, Four has just been discovered, and pretty, young Bree Wilson has just disappeared.
Could she be Next?
With precious little to go on, Detective Zac Toumille and his partner, Jenny Clark, are dragged along in a media circus as the nightmare continues--all in the hope to end the reign of The Count and free the missing Bree before it's too late--before she is reduced to just parts--before she becomes--MINIMAL.
Phillip resides in his hometown of Fort Worth, TX, with his wife and three boys. He currently works during the day in medical staffing and spends every other free moment with his family, writing or reading. He loves all kinds of music but is quite partial to progressive and power metal. His inspiration to write has always been his little brother A.C. Hall.
This author did an amazing job writing this story. It could be a movie. He was very descriptive which I loved. My heart was beating so loudly you could hear it from sitting next to me as I read this book. I couldn't put the book down. I would have given 4 stars only because I didn't like how it ended but I know every book is not going to end like you want and that wouldn't make it a great book. I would have liked a more developed story line about the Detectives and what happened after Zac left the department. I would also have liked an after story about Bree Wilson and if they were able to save her at all after the whole ordeal.

My thoughts rating: 4.5 freakish, and bizarre , but keeps you guessing on what's going to happen next ,and all the time it kept me on the edge on my seat through the whole story, though the end did surprise and that it ended in what felt like a cliffhanger , to find out what I mean your going to have to read the book for yourself .
Wow! This should be a movie! This is my first book from this author and I am extremely impressed! He kept me on the edge on my seat through the whole story. I would have liked to seen more about the Zac as he moves on as well as more with Bree. But, this was a fantastic read!
