This is a story about teaching younr girls how to be kind. Honestly, it was a very boring book. There was nothing exciting about the story whatsoever, which it should have been given the target age group. If it hadn't been for the length being so short, I wouldn't have continued reading. ...more

My 4-year-old liked this more than I did, because personally this book irritated me. I hate when stories are set UNDERWATER and characters then pour tea from teapots. how would you keep the teas in the teapot, and then in the cups? It would mix with the sea water! (I know this is a kids book, but boy does it bug me!) This book was also really long-winded for a kids book, I got several groans over the amount of text to each picture, and usually lots of text doesn't bother my little boy i

This is a cute book that helps teach children manners and being kind through the eyes of some mermaid friends. The author has captured the fun spirit of the mermaids as they enjoy a tea party while also learning the importance of manners and being kind to one another. These basic things are sometimes forgotten as children grow and struggle to study their regular school lessons. Thanks to Sally Huss for reminding children and parents what is important.

What a delightfully written and illustrated story about being appreciate and kind, in all you do. The girls in the mermaid school had a tea party sponsored by tier teacher -- and learned how to be kind, appreciative and polite --- in all they do. With all the fun of learning new creatures of the sea! With turtles for seats!

It reminded me of all the lovely tea cups my mom had and how the family passed them around to each other when one member died…

I rate it four stars I love it because I'm 10 and at this age you still are not good at your manners

So I can read this book and understand that there are more things in the world than interrupting and talking very
Loud and also having a bad attitude
This book is good

Cute Mermaid Story on Manners

An adorable story with a cute lesson and imaginative descriptions! The lesson is one I'm hoping sticks with my youngest, so I know we will be rereading this tale!

Good but stuffed

Good story about being kind. Not a big fan of book stuffers on Kindle Unlimited though. If you put two books in one its two books. Not one.

Love this lesson on kindness, manners, appreciation and gratitude. Little girls love mermaids and tea parties. Huss combines the two to explain to young children the virtues of waiting your turn, expressing gratitude, offering kindness, and practicing good manners. Miss Crandell uses the tea party to demonstrate how to give and receive gifts graciously. The mermaids understand that they are learning life lessons not just playing house. This is the kind of book that will grow with children as the ...more

How Mermaids learn and how any young girl can learn to give a tea party, too!

I enjoyed this ebook and think this is a very good type of ebook for kids (especially for young girls) where they can learn to have kindness from the heart! With great and colorful illustrations!
I recommend this especially for young girls. For all of these items that were included in this ebook I think this needs a five star rating. I received this ebook for free and in return have given it an honest review. Great work S

Stupidest book I may have ever read. I don't know why anyone would give this book more than one star. And WHY IS THE MERMAID NAKED ON TOP? Even if this book had any value, my kids were totally distracted and concerned that she didn't have any shells to cover herself up. Ugh! ...more
