A Power Pack miniseries by the original writer and penciller from back in the day? Well, what can I say but ‘thank you for the early birthday present, Marvel’!

If it weren’t for a minor plot hole and the fact that I didn’t think the inker was a good choice if they were trying to recreate the feel of the original Power Pack book, this would be five stars all the way for me.

Yet another flashback/retro series with the original writer at the helm...

Power Pack has never been my thing. Didn't enjoy it back in the day and still can't stand them when they tried to 'age them up' in the last few years. This series leans heavily on Franklin Richards being involved (since the rest of the team/family is ANNOYING)
----
Bonus: So tired of Tattletale era, Franklin Richards...
Bonus Bonus: The art is not consistent (or that good?)

The band is back together! Original series creators Louise Simonson and June Brigman return with a brand new miniseries which is every bit as great as their original run.

I was 10 going on 11 when I bought Power Pack #1 off of the spinner rack at 7-11 in May of 1984. Here we are, 40 years later. Crazy to think about how much time has passed.
