I liked this book. Snow Blood: Season 1 (A Vampire Mystery Thiller) is an interesting tale of a dog who gets turned into a vampire, told from his point of view.

Before reading this book I did not look at what it was about, or any reviews. I like to go into a book with an open mind. I have read quite a few paranormal books with vampires. Paranormal is one of my favorite genres. But I don't think I have ever read about a vampire dog. Having the book told from the dog's point of view was interesting

When I started reading this book I really didn't know what to expect, we are reading from the point of you of Snow Blood a white husky now a vampire, new to this world and trying to control his blood lust.

At first Snow Blood is upset with Brogio for turning him and taking him away from his old family, but he starts to adapt and starts to trust and care for Brogio. He is loyal and brave and smart. It felt strange for me reading about Snow Blood as a vampire. As we read on we start to learn more

"Snow Blood: Episode 1" by Carol McKibben was a real surprise find for me. Being a dog person I was tempted but I only reluctantly ventured out to read this book about a white husky who becomes vampire but to my relief and joy the concept really worked.
Snow, the husky, tells in his own words how he comes in contact with Brogio, his saviour and master, and how his new life pans out.
Telling a vampire dog story adds a great twist, one that is ling overdue since we have shapeshifters and werewolve s

Our main character, Snow Blood, is the best vampire guard dog ever!! If I turn into a an undead, I want Snow Blood covering my back!

This story is along the lines of unconditional love like the author's last book "Luke's Tale" but "Snow Blood" is more epic!

We get to see things through the eyes of a dog watching the love of Brogio's life walk in while the jealous god that cursed him tries to rip the lovers apart. Snow Blood has none of that and seeks to help Brogio and Selene be together!

I got this one free in exchange for a review. I’ll be the first to admit, I agreed to review this book solely because there’s a beautiful white husky. As a general rule, I don’t enjoy vampire books – they’re usually too melodramatic for my tastes. (And yes, I read the True Blood series through book 11 before getting bored.) But, beautiful white husky? Sign me up.

The book is told from Snow-turned-Snow Blood’s perspective, and it’s highly entertaining. Is it quality fiction? Nope. In fact, the wri

First, let me say that I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Snow Blood by Carol McKibben is a story about a dog. A dog that loves his family... But all of that changes in an instant when his life crosses paths with the vampire Brogio and through an act of kindness (or was it...?) Snow is turned to a vampire and pulled into a battle that involves centuries old creatures, Greek gods, and a long-lost beautiful and mysterious woman.

Normally this is not the kind of book I go

As a relatively new reader of Paranormal and/or Young Adult, I was not sure what to expect. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised. Being told a story from the point of view of a dog/newly turned vampire was different but I soon found that I was forgetting that little tidbit. Snow Blood is the loyal dog and protector of Brogio, the first vampire. Together, they struggle against the gods who have axes to bury with them while Brogio pins for his beloved Selene until she is miraculously returned to h ...more

I loved the cover and the title and didn't even check to see what it was about. Just assumed it was another vampire book (which I love). You can imagine my surprise when I started reading it and got a little confused till I realized who was telling the story. I was surprised, it was so very different from every other vampire book I had ever read. I was delighted and enjoyed reading a paranormal story from such a different point of view. I don't do spoilers so I really don't want to say more, jus ...more

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Snow Blood is not your stereotypical vampire story. First off, it is told from the perspective of the dog/wolf converted to kindred. Secondly, this is the second book. Whereas, some of the back story might be a little confusing if you have not read the first season (I have not), you can quickly piece together what is going on and where the challenges the characters face. It is an interesting twist on a vampire story. Not only becau ...more

This book was okay. It takes a different spin on vampires, weres, and gods. The book starts off and follows the mind of a white husky named Snow. Snow has just been turned into a vampire. As far as they know he is the first dog turned. At first he is not accepting of it and wants to go back to his family. Once he finally learns to trust Brogio, thats when danger has found them but so has his Brogio's new love. To save all they must fight Apollo god of sun. Will they be able able to win? Snow Blood was a YA vampire novel with a twist.
An awesome one.
Somehow having this story unfold through a dog’s eyes just works amazingly well.
I liked the different spin taken on the usual lore, bringing a new angle to an already well-explored cannon. The plot moves at a fast pace, with the action described in gory detail. Thankfully you don’t have to wait for the conclusion of the story to read some riveting combat.
I loved this book, but I read Season Two first, and that is definitely my favo

A wonderful tale full of paranormal beings, mythology, and an exceptional character.
This tale of paranormal romance begins with the unthinkable, the main character is a dog; a beautiful white husky that is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Snow is brought to life by a vampire filled with guilt.
We'll see the story through the eyes of this dog, how this vampire became a creature of the night and why he longs for his beloved that cannot be together because of a jealous god.

The concept of a dog turned into a vampire isn't usually the kind of subject that keeps me turning the pages. But there's something really charming about Snow Blood. There is a lot of heart and sweetness in this canine creature that makes him lovable and heroic. If you are a fan of vampire lore, there's a lot of great mythology in this story. A fun and quick read. ...more

First and foremost, I do not give spoilers. This is a great story. Now I want to go back and ready the books that came before this one. This story is well thought out so it produces a well structured world. The characters are well developed. By having a well established world and balanced characters, it can only be a great story. I am looking forward to reading the story from the beginning.

Wow what an interesting story. I found it truly captivating. I love all stories supernatural and this one if fantastic. It is easy to see that there will be more stories about Snow Blood and his pack, and I can hardly wait to read each one. This is a great read.

The concept of this story is something I have not read anywhere before. Vampires mixed with greek mythology and from a dog's point of view is really interesting. While the story is great, the execution wasn't quite ideal. I felt it was too rushed and the backstory was explored too little. I felt the build-up to the final battle and the love story was too short. I think I'm still gonna read the sequels. 3,5✴ ...more
