Money is not the most important thing in the world; love is - so they say anyway. Fortunately, Drew loves money. He wasn’t capable of loving anything else. The more money he made, the more he needed to make. Always

Why oh why do I love Drew? I don't know, but I do and at the same time I don't.

I'll admit there were a few times during this book that I REALLY didn't. (Honestly, even more than in book 1 which is surprising) But when all is said and done...I do love him.

I love what Jettie gave us in UNDERESTIMATED TOO. I loved learning about Drew's past. It explained a lot about his behavior--that doesn't mean it excused some of it. I really, really, really, like the kinky Drew. It's the other side of Drew tha

Book 1: Underestimated
Book 2: Underestimated Too
Book 3: An Underestimated Christmas

Underestimated Too opens with Morgan and Drew living a happy life with their first child, Nicholas. On the surface, all appears to be under control but Drew and Morgan quickly fall into the same destructive patterns as before. The biggest change is now they are parents and how Drew’s violent behavior will affect their son. With many questions still looming from Underestimated, primarily about Drew’s past, the story continues as told in Drew’s words during counseling sessions with their chosen th

I knew this book was a dark one read - which I normally love - I had high hopes and been waiting for it for a while, and there were a lot of high ratings that gave me high expectations too.

But I never expected it to sicken and infuriate me that freakin' much!!!

- My thoughts before reading were...

"Drew's past? YaY! Finally I get to know him better after I warmed to him at the last part in book 1.
But after reading the book, it was like I've been slapped on my face!

When I read the synopsis I though this book was going to be from Drew’s POV, so I was disappointed at first. But then I was pleasantly surprised how his story was told through their therapy sessions.

The book had different tone than the previous one. Even though it was dark, it was lighter and amusing at times. It was funny how Morgan was

Crazy for Books (Stephanie)

It started off slow. But once I got into it, it got interest. I still don't like Drew. I think Morgan was a freaking doormat, although I understand that this was all she knew for the most part. I hated how long it took to resolve some issues with her family that could have been deal with in the first book. I also found this book a little easier to take than the first book, given the fact that I still can't seem to write the review for the first book.

I loved ultimate
Wow....very frustrating book....this picks up 6 months (I think) after the end of book 1. Most of the book is from Drew's POV. We find out more about him and his past...which is totally messed up. (Still no excuse for the abuse that he inflicted on his wife). The strange part is, that though he is an abuser, I liked him better than I liked her (Morgan). She got on my nerves BIG time. She is an abused wife, yet continues to make excuses for her husband. I could have gotten over that....what annoy ...more

Well Morgan and Drew are all sorts of fucked up! I'm sure the therapist was thinking...'these assholes are not worth saving' lol

One of my main criticism of book 1 was that I didn't think the reason for Drew's abusive behavior was explained well, this book remedies that. We finally read why Drew is so fucked up. Book 1 ends with Drew being reformed but in this book Drew is back to his controlling and abusive ways. Much more realistic this way, I'm glad that Drew didn't just change overnight. He

Old Habits Die Hard

If I thought that Drew and Morgan had magically resolved their issues after the conclusion of 'Underestimated', I couldn't have been more wrong. The honeymoon phase is once again over and Drew has quickly resorted to his old patterns of control and abuse. Morgan has once again become the enabling, battered wife. To say that their relationship is dysfunctional would be an understatement of epic proportions.

I wasn't going to continue after reading Underestimated, but the blurb for Underestimated Too promised Drew's side of the story. When I read the first few pages, courtesy of the preview via Amazon, I became curious how the couple would tackle some of their many unresolved issues. After the originality of the first book, I was hoping the author would surprise me and reveal something about the couple I didn't expect.

So, I decided to give this book a try. I wanted a couple I could root for. I wante

If you haven't read Underestimated.. DON'T Read this review, it'll give part of the story away.

UT is the sequel and is for a good portion in Drew's point of view in a way (you'll have to read it to know what I mean).. We get to see Drew's side of Underestimated along with how their life is after the first book.

Things aren't all happy and flowers.. which they shouldn't be for this couple. They are complex, different and unique. Just like any normal marriage. They have their own issues tha

Why did i want to read this one after giving one star to the first book ? Well i'm interested in Drew PoV and i want to know how the author will explain it.

Two stars for this one, not because it was better than the first book (it is also really disturbing) , but because at last, Drew tries to be a better man at the end.
As for Morgan, here she is worst than in the first book!! I can't believe how selfish she can be. She puts her sexual needs before everything else, even before the savety of

This was AMAZING!! I Loved the 1st and I knew I would love this as well. It just blew me away. This is an incredibly intense story with some tough subject matters but written about so very well. Also tons of love and passion. This #2 continues the journey of Morgan and Drew with a lot more insight into the past with some questions answered. Love how it was written with Drew reflecting back and not just a retelling of the whole story. The writing is amazing and I highly recommend this series. Thi ...more

Every single time I read a book by Jettie Woodruff I know a few things are going to happen. At some point in the story I am going to hate the heroine and at some point in the story I will want to kill the hero and at some point in the story I think they're all just too stupid to live. But the most important thing that I know is it I'm going to get a good story, no, scratch that - a great story and I'm going to love every minute of it and all the stress and frustration that I felt while reading a ...more

Underestimated Too begins six months after the end of Underestimated. At the end of Underestimated I was completely enthralled by the changes Drew made in himself. At the end of the first page in Underestimated Too I was questioning my morals. I loved Drew, but this wasn’t who I wanted to love. I knew that Jettie was going to be writing Drew’s POV and I was excited to hear his thoughts on how the events progressed. What we get in Underestimated Too is a wonderful blend of

4.5 to 5 Ok now I can review. I was hooked from the started and a little confused and shocked what was happening between Drew and Morgan. I thought all their issues where resolved in Underestimated, which I really liked, but there was so much left to overcome. I loved and hated Drew and also loved and hated the things he did to Morgan past and present. Drew's back story of him as a little boy

I so thought he had the best childhood.
I'm wavering between 4.5 and 5 because Morgan and her stupidity
This was a fantastic read. I love Jettie's writing. This was second book about Drew and Morgan Kelley and I loved to read more about them. Here we got Drew's point of view of what happened between him and Morgan. I have to say it was creative to have Drew recount his POV during his 'talks' to his therapist and and his wife. Drew also talks about his terribble life with his mother and Anthony. I hated that monster! I was so worried that they would end separately becauce Drew was so damiged and hu ...more
Jamie ♡♡ submits to books ♡♡ #2 confirms it....I am so messed up in loving Drew Kelley!! WOW....this book went beyond my expectations. I loved how the author did this story. The point of view of Drew was raw and in your face and that is what we all needed. He is not a week man but a broken man. The gruff in detail of his point of view made it all come full circle.

I loved Morgan's little smart butt comments during Drew's view was a great add....we all do it so to read it made it seem so real.

We were both so excited to hear there was going to be a book 2 in this series, especially when it was going to be told in Drew’s POV. Once we started we were a little shocked to see that it was in fact, not told in Drew’s POV but in Morgan's. We do hear more from Drew but I (kristy) think this would have been a much better read if it was told in a dual POV.

Drew Kelley stole our hearts in Underestimated, we defiantly had times where we wanted to reach through the book and tear him a new one but

Is it wrong that I'm hot for Drew? I know he is not a good guy, but I would be lying if I said he can't get my panties in a twist.

I have to admit the first scene made me retract anything good I though about Drew at first. Not that he was ever good, but we

Saying this is 5-star read is like saying pigs don't fly. Well, they don't in reality, but maybe in my dreams. But, in reality, this is MORE than a 5-star read!

I COULDN'T wait to get more Drew, and maybe some Morgan too ;) But, come on, Drew is awesome!!! And this book DID NOT disappoint!!! Well worth the wait!
I loved Drew, I hated him, I loved him again, I hated him again, but of course, my love won out. He was an asshole, but what's new, right? But, this time, he was an asshole that knew he wa

More Drew and Morgan...I loved it! This was a very interesting sequel. This was suppose to be Drew's point of view of what happened between him and Morgan. However, this book was so much more. It was creative for Jettie Woodruff to have Drew recount his POV during his 'talks' with Deidre and Morgan. I did not feel like I was re-reading word for word Underestimated again. I hate when authors produce a POV that is an exact rewrite of events from the original book. This story gave

Ugh what was i thinking?????

I finally figured out why i couldn't get into the first book! First of all lete say that the writing is very good, may even be the best part. However, i was beyond bored trying to make myself get through this.

I did like the fact that Drew and Morgan are working through their problems and trying to be a proper family. Honestly Morgan should have just left him from the beginning but oh well she had other plans. It went from Morgan being terrified of the things Drew did

BUT, Jettie you are a genius! I didn't read the same story with another POV I was reading a new story! For that: congratulations!

Another 5 Plus stars for Jettie Woodruff. I didn't think I could like Underestimated Too more then Underestimated but I soooo did. I thought it was going to be from Drew's POV about what's going on in his head making him the way he is but nope!!!! Boy was I pleasantly surprised.

Jettie made it Morgans book but it was was his story from his own mouth. I LOVED IT. Drew was a hoot and had me LOL a lot. The man's mouth had no filter. When he went into great detail about events I couldn't

After reading the first, you must read this book.

The second book is much better than the first ones. Although, Drew still aggressive , they try to manage it together. This book uncovered why Drew behaved like that, sometimes abusing, sometime he so sweet-tempered towards her. Many secrets revealed at this time. Who is he? What happened in his past.

The important point, how they managed when aggressive situation happened. Go to counselling is the best way to solve their problem. Because,
