About the Book: From meeting with an old friend to losing a loved one, we all had something that made us reassess our whole existence. And while looking through a different perspective, aren't all those capable of being molded into a poem? The small love-note to those simple gestures, a few ‘simple’ things that have always refused to leave our hearts, weren’t ‘simple’ at all. ‘Strings’ is such a collection of moments shaped into a tale of poetry, prose and musings. Perhaps, you may find yourself between those pages. And that isn’t coincidental.
Behind every person Who decides to bury themselves In unknown places Was that little kid Who was taught to believe and remember that Love only blooms Where there is enough chaos and Terror That’s when he started embracing and romanticising suffering ;)

Heart-Wrenching and Relatable: A Poignant Journey Through "Strings"
Reema Sherin's "Strings" is a soul-stirring poetry collection that touched the deepest recesses of my heart. As I turned the pages, I found myself unraveling alongside the author, thread by tender thread. This book masterfully weaves nostalgia, longing, and vulnerability, echoing the whispers of a child yearning for love and connection.
The poems within these pages resonated deeply, mirroring my own experiences of feeling lost and unloved. Sherin's words expertly captured the ache of abandonment, the weight of unresolved emotions, and the haunting memories of those who left without a goodbye.
What struck me most was the raw honesty and vulnerability that permeates every line. Sherin's writing is both cathartic and courageous, inviting readers to confront their own scars and heal. Her poetry is a gentle reminder that we are not alone in our struggles, that our tears are valid, and our voices deserve to be heard.
"Strings" made me sob, but it also made me feel seen. It reminded me that even in the darkest moments, there is beauty in the brokenness. This book is a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and hope.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Recommendation: If you're ready to confront your emotions and find solace in shared experiences, "Strings" is a must-read.
There isn't a time I dont crave to read a good collection of poems.
I slipped onto this book when I needed these words the most. 'String' is a brilliant and relatable collection of poems divided into three major divisions~ realisation, reminders, and remembrance. I feel brilliant, is an understatement for this book because it brings your fainting emotions alive, and you can not control yourself, but feel.
'String' is a song of the heart - its innocence, vulnerabilities, and healing. It compels you to shed your heavy and surrender to the author's words. It's scary and satisfying to read poetry so deeply truthful and still wins over our hearts. It's been a long time, I have borrowed myself in poetry so attentively and immersively, and I won't lie, but it felt like a small reunion with a well-written poem.
The charm of this book lays in its honesty and simplicity that actually pierces hearts with an unbeatable reality.
This book is for anyone who loves to read good poetry and, as the author said, for someone who feels more. This book is a fresh air of healing and perspective that we seek from others.
First two chapters Realisations and Reminders were beautiful and great.
" One day, you'll realise that all the things that you ran away from, never really left. it was you, who begin to see things through a different perspective.
it was you, who moulded your mind to let things go and accept. all that you assumed as a loss, is still lying somewhere in a corner, waiting for the arrival of something new to be forgotten.
it was all about how you've been, rather than what you've gone through. "
To sum up, this one hit home... In the shop I picked this book primarily because I liked its cover, then I realised that it was a Poetry collection (I have never read one earlier) so I opened it and read the dedication-felt too personal.. Then I continued to read the first poem and that was it- I immediately slammed the cover and said "kitne ki h?""
It is very good for someone who has been in a relationship and is depressed about their current love life I guess but there are many nice and meaningful quotes and for your kind information this book is all about quotes and that's all from me about this book
I could see myself somewhere in these pages. I wish went for the paperback rather than Kindle. It’s something that needs a space in your personal library.
Every chapter holds a purpose. The book is divided into three parts and each one represents my emotions. Everyone can relate to this. Worth every minute read. Go for it!
Strings is a captivating journey through the intricate web of human emotions, expertly woven with lyrical prose. In just a few lines, it resonates deeply, reflecting the fragile ties that bind us all. This is a collection of moments shaped into a tale of poetry.
