More a treatise in their program, which I am sure is vey good, it did include ideas on underlying factors that contribute to student failures in testing. Students need more foundational work, but when they get to high school and getting poor or failing grades they just give up, unless you really work to find the gaps and fill them in with the missing knowledge. And then there is the test anxiety itself, which this book somewhat addresses and needs to be a focus to help students control their reactions and fear and confidently go into testing.
