Liked this but wanted to it more. Not poorly written. Too much 50, too much that seemed really a logic jump where it brought me out of the story to think to myself wow that's really not how real life works. A cute little story though.

Maybe it's just me, but this smacks of 50 Shades. Clumsy, stupid woman meets arrogant, sexy man of the publishing industry and finds herself both aroused and wary. I didn't read far enough to see references to her "Inner Goddess," but I caught enough lip-biting and blushing to have me rolling my eyes. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: There IS such a thing as good erotica. The heroine doesn't have to be brain-dead. The hero doesn't have to be a creep. The editing CAN be well-done. Shelves: absolutely-awful
Anything that in the first paragraph opens with the female protagonist saying she is "picking at [her] long, wavy, not-to-be-tamed honey red locks" is bound to be awful. And it was, right up to the end, which could not arrive d=fast enough. While this book is not 50 Shades of Grey, it is deliberately--and even more amateurishly--a derivative.

Why am I not surprised that there are folks out there who seem to thrive on drivel?
