Please be sure to read Taken and Marked before reading Betrayed, as it is meant to be a series. Enjoy the journey! ~ Felicia Starr.
This book picked up where Taken left off, but I feel that I should have maybe read Marked before I read this book. I did enjoy this book, but I am left a little confused. The plot has the relationship between Kasha and Graven strengthening as they work with each other to uncover the mysteries of Kasha, her Grandmother, and her mother. Let us not forget the power that is growing inside of her. The chemistry is definitely heating up between Kasha and Graven. Betrayed is just that. It seems that there are very few people that Kasha can trust. Including one of the people she thought was helping her. The pace is still fast with lots of action, as well as some real violence. This book ended in a cliffhanger. Although I can’t find any indication of another part of this series a book 3, there are just too many unanswered questions. Kasha is still finding out about the powers that are developing within her. As things get very crazy, Kasha still remains true to the light.
