If you’re looking for a sweet romance, then I would recommend this book. Most of the books for only .99 cents I was not impressed with the plot or content. This book on the other hand left me with a smile. Megan, and Daniel pulled me right into the story. I love that fact that they both worked in the medical field. Daniel was a surgeon. Megan worked on a rescue team saving lives. This book had a part that made me hold my breath. I will not go into detail, because I don’t want to ruin the book fo ...more

Just completed Helen Scott Taylor’s book The Army Doctor’s New Year Baby.

I loved the story. There was a lot of danger, yet bravery involved. Having to go up into the mountains to help people injured in falling in the snowing mountains, always ready to be called out to serve and help save others. Megan and Daniel meeting, not going to be interested in each other live through a lot of adventures. The last 5 or more chapters I read all today. I couldn’t put it down, had to keep reading. Had to know

The Army Doctor's New Year's Baby by Helen Scott Taylor is a nice romantic read.
It's an easy read and you can easily read it in one til two settings.
The story has some great characters and if you like reading classic romance stories this one is a good one.

It's part of a series and it's the fourth book. It stands alone but you get a little more out of the story if you know all the other characters in the story already.
The fours books are:
The Army Doctor's Baby
The Army Doctor's Wedding
The Army Doc

The Army Doctor's New Years Baby:

Daniel and Megan meet on New Years Eve when she needs an escort into the Army ball. Her brother introduces them. Then Daniel is posted with her brother and is invited to live in their home. Daniel has declared that he's going to concentrate on the army for an entire year without the distractions of women, but soon Megan has wormed her way into his heart and constant thoughts and he has to re-think his priorities.

Good story.

Scotland, beautiful scenery, man in uniform. What more do you need for a nice few hours spend? It doesn't matter it is a book in a series. I didn't read the previous books, but it didn't bother me at all. Just fine to read on it's own. It is a sweet story about two people falling in love, without becoming overbearingly sweet. What I liked most are the descriptions of the scenery and how the author descripes the feelings of the main characters - Daniel en Meg - for eachother. I read the book in o ...more

This was a cute short read about 2 doctors who met at a ball. No real depth but I enjoyed it.
